The Oscoda-AuSable Chamber of Commerce would like to invite you to sponsor and exhibit at the 2009 Northeastern Michigan Renewable Energy Fair, Friday May 22nd through Sunday May 24th 2009 at Furtaw Field in Oscoda, Michigan. It is our mission to empower Northeastern Michigan residents, business people and governments, with the information and access to companies and organizations which will allow them to increase their energy efficiency and use of solar, wind and other renewables. The purposes of this event shall be to promote the practical application of renewable energy and the environmentally responsible practices to enhance the economic, ecological, and social environment of the community. This shall be accomplished by identifying appropriate projects, collaborating with the stakeholders, and bringing together people and resources to successfully implement the projects. The event shall serve to inform the public, governmental and institutional bodies, and raise the level of public awareness.

The 4th Annual RED WHITE & BLUE Festival will not only have great entertainment and awesome fireworks, but several other events and attractions throughout the weekend. *26th Annual Art on the Beach
This exciting show has been a favorite for over a quarter of a century, and the 2009 show promises to be the best yet! Slated for the last full weekend in June every year, this show gets bigger and better every year, and runs Saturday from 9am - 6pm and Sunday from 9am - 4pm. Over 150 Artisans display and sell their handmade arts, crafts, and hobbies on the shores of beautiful Lake Huron, at Oscoda Beach Park in Downtown Oscoda. This awesome show fills the grassy shaded area at the Beach Park, which is just East of Lake Street, two blocks from US-23. Artists from around the country come to sell a wide variety of handmade crafts and works of art. No kit work or buy and sell items are allowed, making this a juried and true art show. Annual Golf Challenge, Lakewood Shores, Blackshire Course. Get in on this four-person scramble at one of the nicest courses in the State, the Blackshire at the renowned Lakewood Shores Golf Club. Registration kicks off at 8:30 am, with a 9:00 am start. 18 holes with cart, followed by a savory luncheon at the clubhouse, complete with prizes, cash prizes, giveaways, raffles, and an optional skins game for individuals or teams.
