Oscoda KOAOur KOA NewsBIG RIG FRIENDLYThe new owners have taken this campground to new heights. It is now BIG RIG FRIENDLY and tent camper friendly. Both worlds will love it. Trees for those wanting trees and open spaces for the big rigs. They have completely renovated many sites by eliminating some to accommodate the larger RVs. Having said that, they have maintained the woodsy areas for the tenters. No camper left behind is their new motto! OSCODA HAS NEW OWNERS!We are proud to announce that the Oscoda KOA has new owners! The Eller Family has officially taken ownership, and we would like to welcome you to our campground. We come to the park with over 30 years of camping experience, and we have several improvements coming soon. We hope that you will come and see us again to check out those updates this year and also in the years to come. We appreciate your business and hope that you all enjoy your stay here at Oscoda KOA. CABLE IS HERE!We have just completed installing cable on our full hook-up sites. We want to make sure if you're looking for a campground that has cable, we are the one! Book your reservation now, these sites will sell out fast. NEW JUMPING PILLOWFor a nominal fee, you can join in the jumping fun on our NEW LARGE jumping pillow. This is just one of our newest and many amenities this campground offers the camper. If you haven't experienced the fun of a jumping pillow--come join in. It can hold up to 50 people at any one time. If you're big or small, old or young, there's a spot just for you. CHRISTMAS IN JULYJuly 18-20. Come stay with us and decorate your site for Christmas. We will judge the sites and the best decorated site will win a Christmas gift. Just be sure to reserve your site early. CAMPFIRE COOKING WITH GLEN AND MIKENew this year! Glen and Mike are giving cooking lessons with recipes that you can make with your family over the campfire. Mark your calendars for June 6-8, July 11-13, and August 8-10 and make your reservations early so you won't miss this event. CHILI COOK OFFSeptember 5-7. Bring your best recipe for chili and enter it in our chile cook off. It will be judged by our resident chefs Glen and Mike. Make a big pot and share with the other contestants. There will be a prize for the winner. Be sure to bring a good appetite because we know there will be some great food. HALLOWEENOct 3-5; Oct 10-12; Oct 17-19 Come stay with us and be prepared to come and trick or treat. Bring your costumes and treats to give out. Be sure to visit our Kampstore for your treat. |
