After a day of boating, sightseeing or golfing in the busy Straits area, retreat to this quiet KOA. Hit the heated pool or bike to Mackinaw City. Whether you choose a shady pull thru, Kamping Kabin or tent site, make the 50-acre campground your base for exploring one of Michigan's most popular regions. Golfers can choose among 18 courses within 30 miles. Kids can splash themselves silly at the new Thunder Falls water park. Three national historic parks are nearby. Festivals abound, like the Labor Day Bridge Walk, the one day when pedestrians can cross magnificent "Big Mac," which connects Michigan's Upper and Lower peninsulas. Fabled Mackinac Island may be the area's biggest draw. Take a free shuttle to the ferry dock.
