Early Season Camping activities..............

A note to our early bird campers with children. Our campground opens nearly all of its activites on weekends begining May 1ST and full time after June 12th. Most local schools release on or around June 12th for summer vacation and we begin our full time daily activities all summer after that date, weather permitting.

So if your looking for all of our "FUN" things to be fully operational, come and see us after this date to guarantee fun for you and your family!!

Cancellation Charge Policy

Cancellation Charges: A $10 ($12 Canadian) cancellation fee will be charged for cancellations made prior to deadline. Cancellations after deadline will result in forfeiture of deposit.

Cancellation Requirements for Deposit Refund

(If you are unable to honor your reservation, you must call and cancel prior to these deposit refund cancellation deadlines)

RV/Tent: 48 Hours -Please notify KOA by 4 p.m. two days prior to your scheduled arrival.

Kabin/Kottage/Lodge: 7 Days - Please notify KOA one week prior to your scheduled arrival date.

Reservations made after deadlines will require a non-refundable deposit.

In 2008, ReserveAmerica, one of the leading reservation services in the nation have recognized Port Huron KOA as one of the top 25 "Kid-Friendly Camprgrounds" in the Nation.
The Top 25 "Kid-Friendly" Campgrounds were selected based on testimonials, campground ratings and feedback provided by regional park management and campers throughout the year. Nearly 4,000 parks were reviewed and the final 25 campgrounds were determined based on specific child- friendly criteria.

Port Huron KOA is a family campground. And proud to keep the traditions of camping and good clean fun alive!

At Port Huron KOA we have introduced a family policy. This policy states: All persons in a party must be 21 years of age in order to register in our campground and/or must have a parent staying with the party the entire stay.

We appreciate your cooperation in the enforcement of this policy in our efforts to serve you better and create the ultimate camping experience.

FRIDAY NIGHT FUN NIGHTS!

Come and join us this summer and enjoy Sawmill City's Friday Night Fun Nights. For one low price all Children under 18 years of age can enjoy live music, contests, prizes and wristbands for all of our attractions from 6p.m. until 10 p.m. every Friday night from June 12th until August 28th. Also a great opportunity for Mom and Dad to get some time away and enjoy a Friday night again!

Port Huron KOA Receives President's Award

At the 2008 Annual KOA Convention, Port Huron KOA was honored with the President's Award.
This unique award was created for the KOA Kampgrounds that meet or exceed the Standards of the Quality Index Review.

Sorry, No electric scooters or golf carts.

Due to the high volume of traffic in our campground and our concern for safety we have elected to no longer allow personal golf carts or scooters to be brought into our campground. Thank you for caring as much as we do about our "little kampers"!

NO outside firewood.

Port Huron KOA has a tremendous number of Ash trees in our campground. In an effort to preserve and protect them from the Emerald Ash Borer we can no longer permit any of our guests to bring their own firewood.Only the wood provided by Port Huron KOA(at a cost)can be burned in our park. The state of Michigan recomends no moving of firewood in the State and no outside wood brought into any campgrounds.
