The Lewis and Clark Caverns

Named by Theodore Roosevelt, the caverns offer a unique look at nature’s underground beauty. Located about an hour from Bozeman, the park offers guided tours May 1 through September 30.

Virginia City/Nevada City

Relive the past when you visit these two ghost towns. The entire town of Nevada City has been restored to an open air museum capturing the flavor of an early day mining camp. Virginia City has the graves of outlaws hung by the vigilantes of the community. Ride the train from Virginia City to Nevada City and enjoy a wonderful performance by the Virginia City Players performing group.

Red Rock Mine

Lets you screen your own gemstones. Find quality garnets that range in color from light pink to a deep red. It’s great fun for all ages. Open May through September.

Roosevelt Arch

This arch commemorates Gardiner as the gateway to Yellowstone National Park. It has marked the entrance road since Teddy Roosevelt dedicated it in 1903.
