Relax at the Minot KOA, a quiet, rural campground surrounded by rolling hills and trees. RVers appreciate large, level pull thru sites with a variety of hookup options. There also are wooded tent sites. Family members of all ages enjoy Roosevelt Park pool and waterslide and the zoo's more than 200 animals and petting area, located less than 4 miles away. Golfers are a chip shot from four Minot courses. Other attractions include the Scandinavian Heritage Center, Pioneer Village, bird-watching at wildlife refuges and summer auto races. For day trips, head south to Lake Sakakawea for excellent fishing and other water sports, mark the geographical center of North America at Rugby or ogle 150,000 flowers at the International Peace Garden at the Canadian border.
