"We provide clean, well-maintained sites on a family-oriented campground, in the heart of a state that's fun to explore." Jane, Steve's wife, continues, "We want our campers leaving with memorable stories about the fun they had here. Hopefully, they'll return with other friends and family to create more memories in the future! We are compiling our own memoirs of all of our special campground stories. When we retire from the campground, we will need to write a novel!" Steve and Jane came to the campground business through the previous owner of this campground, who Jane knew and kept in touch with over the years. When they were ready to retire, the owner offered Steve and Jane the opportunity to be their own bosses and take ownership of the campground that's been in the KOA system since 1972. Jane had spent 27 years in the office sales and billing department of a wood turning factory; Steve retired in 2003 after 30 years in Public Works. They were ready, qualified and willing to take over campground management when the offer came in. When not working on the campground, you'll find Jane and Steve riding motorcycles, reading, and traveling. Individually, Steve likes sports and fishing, while Jane loves crafts and created stuffed moose, bear, snowmen, rope/fabric baskets, pocket books, tote bags and more. Come meet The Jesseman Family. |
