Clayton KOAMeet Your Hosts Life has a way of bringing families together and that is definitely what happened when Jeff & Carol Childress, along with Nola Childress, decided to purchase a KOA Kampground in March of 2007. "We brought 11 family members with us to the campground," says Carol, "2 daughters, 1 son-in-law, and 5 grandchildren". The idea to have a family based business that allows all of them to have fun and use their strengths, is exactly what they wanted. The sometimes fast paced and recreation atmosphere was something both Jeff & Carol had previous experience in. "We both used to be floor supervisors in Las Vegas casinos," says Jeff, "after working with guests on that level; we look forward to seeing them while they are relaxing." Their newly redesigned store and cleanliness of the campground are just the tip of the iceberg of new improvements and changes they plan to make. Along with making sure each guest has a fun and rewarding experience, they are sure to have a lot of repeat business. Even though this first season will be busy Jeff & Carol like to relax with a good book.
