Pyramid Lake

One of the largest desert lakes in the world, Pyramid Lake is the remnant of an Inland Sea that once covered more than 8,000 square miles. Named for the distinctive rock formation that rises from its waters. Following 37 miles of the lake's western shore, the Pyramid Lake Scenic Byway is the country's only byway located entirely within a tribal reservation.
