The Las Vegas KOA at Circus Circus is on Las Vegas Boulevard, or the Strip! Our campers are so close to everything! If you feel like venturing off the Las Vegas Strip, here are some great places to visit while you stay with us at Circus Circus KOA!

Valley of Fire State Park

Dedicated in 1935, Valley of Fire is Nevada's oldest State Park. It is located only 50 miles northeast of Las Vegas. The rough floor and jagged walls of the park contain brilliant formations of eroded sandstone and sand dunes more than 150 million years old. These features, which are the centerpiece of the park's attractions, often appear to be on fire when reflecting the sun's rays.

Red Rock Canyon

The Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area is located just a few miles west of Las Vegas and encompasses 197,000 acres within the Mojave Desert. Red Rock is an area of world wide geologic interest and beauty. The Red Rock Canyon Interpretive Association supports the Bureau of Land Management in the stewardship of the Conservation Area in many ways.

Grand Canyon

The Grand Canyon is more than a great chasm carved over millennia through the rocks of the Colorado Plateau. It is more than an awe-inspiring view. It is more than a pleasuring ground for those that explore the roads, hike the trails, or float the currents of the turbulent Colorado River.

Black Canyon

Located less than fifty miles from the Las Vegas Strip in Lake Mead National Recreation Area, the Black Canyon, is truly one of those unique places to visit. This canyon, formed by the Colorado River, lies just below the mighty Hoover Dam where the canyon walls rise nearly 2,000 feet from the rivers edge.

Willow Beach

Located at the northern end of Lake Mohave, just a short trip from Hoover Dam, Willow Beach Marina is a hidden treasure to the lake's faithful boaters and fishermen. This marina offers a multitude of activities including fishing, boating, canoeing, kayaking and picnicking. Bring your camera and explore this historic area for a once in a lifetime photographic experience!
