Niagara Falls KOAMeet Your Host After working many years in the hospitality business in Las Vegas, Manager Ginny Gunn decided to work for KOA in their Company Operated Property campgrounds. Ginny has worked as Operations Manager for the Las Vegas KOA and the General Manager at the KOA in Kissimmee Florida before making the move to New York. This move has proven to be successful with this being her third season at the Niagara Falls campground. "The wildlife still amazes me here especially seeing deer, coyote and other tracks in the snow in the winter," says Ginny, "I love watching the transformation of the campground from winter to spring and summer then get very sad when that last camper leaves in October." Trees cover the campground, and their shade and woodsy feel offer a kind of tranquility to a camper needing to get away from it all. Two ponds keep guests busy fishing and canoeing, and a lazy creek winds its way around tent sites, RV sites, and cabins. Guests rent banana bikes and paddle boats and fully enjoy the numerous amenities of the park. A full-blown activities calendar awaits all guests upon arrival in season. At this wholesome family environment, campers unite around bonfires and enjoy meeting and chatting with fellow travelers. The destination-oriented campground sees many people who come to visit Niagara Falls and the surrounding tourism hot spots. "It's a great place to go to stay somewhere close to home, but far enough away to get a break from things," says Ginny, "I enjoy seeing the locals that come to visit." Ginny is looking forward to another great year and continuing to add new things for the campers to do in the campground. In 2008 look for the new Jumping Pillow and Bumper Boats.
