Pull into KOA and walk right into the heart of grape country. Enjoy the pine- and oak-covered trails of Ottaway Park. Sunsets are magical over Lake Erie, only 300 yards from the campground. A shale-bottom creek, fun for hiking, flows through KOA. Hook bass and perch from the pond, then let them go. (For the real keepers, get on an Erie charter or fish off the large pier near a boat launch.) KOA boasts two pools, a game room and an award-winning playground. Fun summer weekends include water balloon tosses, Big Foot and sack races, treasure hunts and more. For a spectacular view of Lake Erie, vineyards and a hint of Canada, go 5 miles to Luensman Overview Park. Visit antique shops and wineries and Erie's Splash Lagoon Indoor Water Park.
