A lawnmower was mowing our neighbors site ( while they were camping), trying to get close to the edge of their lot. The lawnmower hit our camper slide out with the roll bar of the mower and damaged it. Refered to the Travel Resorts of America Ohio regional manager (park owner) who, after several attempts on my part, will not call me back. They refuse to take responsibility.
Plus was the pool - minus was laundry service was out of service the 6-days we were there. Also didn’t like that they were mowing in active camping sites. The mower was trying to mow so close to our neighbor that the mower roll-bar hit their slide-out!!

Prepaying and reserving ice is nice in theory. However when your reservation is for Monday and Tuesday the store is closed.
Before our stay Hard time contacting the front desk Did not receive a return call for 2 days. The hours for the pool said 10:00 am pool didn’t open until 12:00 The office closed before the hours posted.

Stayed en route west. Campground was clean, bathrooms were dated but well functioning. Tried to cancel the return because of a change in routing, but did not qualify for refunds due to the one week requirement to cancel. Not sure I agree with that policy, and will reconsider staying at a KOA versus another campground next time through....

Great staff. Clean grounds. So quiet you could occasionally hear a horse and buggy go by. Beautiful location. If you like scenic drives this is the place to stay. They will tell you they have WIFI, they don't really. And it's not secure even though they give you a PW. We were okay being "disconnected" but if you need consistent cell service or WIFI not the place for you. We really enjoyed our stay

This KOA is a work in progress. Not too bad for an over night stay right now, but no security, right off a main road. I thought it was a little odd that young children were allowed to drive the KOA golf cart all around the park in the evening.
The campground is nice, quiet and clean, with laundry services and hot showers. The manager is super nice and on call so if anything is needed they are available. Only downside is it doesnt have very much in the shop (but enough if you need something in a pinch) otherwise you need to drive about 10 minutes or more to get to a larger store. Great overall (beware the skunk though)

Canton KOA was very nice! Our lot was a pull thru & we had lots of room. We were NOT close to a neighbor. We had a nice view of the horses. The lady's bathroom/showers were extremely nice & clean! Friendly staff & dog friendly. I think there are bunches of seasonal campers at this KOA but they must have restrictions because it was not junky like some other KOA's. Very quiet and relaxing stay.

Very clean and maintained KOA. We had an older site way in the back near the new development area. the site was very narrow, and the crushed gravel used is slippery, but quiet and relaxing after a day of travel. we loved the restrooms and showers. They were very well kept and clean. Didn't get to use other benefits due to being too far for us to walk. Staff was pleasant.

We love KOA's...clean, dependable, laundry, and swimming pools - are a plus to refresh...all important when needing to overnight, and recharge. Having the pull through sites are also important.
Well laid out. Good mix of RV sites and cabins. Lots for kids to do. Loved the landscaping throughout the park.
We went for a short weekend trip, we had the best time. The shower/restroom was very clean. The pool is big and had plenty of room to spread out. We will be back!
The camp is very well-maintained, and the bathrooms were clean. It was difficult to determine where to park in our tent site because we arrived late at night. The office was very nice and called us the evening of our arrival to tell us the late arrival process. The freeway noise was a little loud. But getting up and on the road was convenient from this location.

It was an incredible camp ground! One of the cleanest and nicest ones I've ever stayed in! So beautiful, with beautiful scenery all around. Fun things to do, places to eat right there and a cute gift shop. It was the perfect place to camp in the area with little ones!
Wonderful stay!!! One of the cleanest KOA campgrounds. Everyone was beyond friendly and helpful. Showers were so clean. Pool very clean. Campground well kept. Will definitely stay again!

Nice park. Well maintained. Friendly staff. Only downside was the 1/4 mile road from highway into rv park. The road was so bumpy and rough that a speed of a walking person was necessary to climb the fairly steep road.

I know this is a new campground and they are still working on it. Several reviews weren’t great, so we were skeptical. I actually really liked this campground. It’s small, and there aren’t tons of amenities, but it was clean, quiet, and relaxing. It’s well kept and the tree lined lanes are lovely. I would come back!
It is a really nice place quite the only thing I wished they would do is make the playground more handicap accessible. Already recommended to some of our friends.
Campground was clean, staff was friendly. The only thing we didn’t care for was the lawn mowing in the evening until 8:00. We had come back from hiking and just wanted to relax and have quiet.
Advertised as new campground with patio & shade - very old campground, no patio (just gravel) & no shade. Constant highway noise. Picnic table literally fell apart. No grocery essentials in "store." Lousy wifi. Stayed 4 nights. Wife was ill, had to leave to take her to hospital at home. They didn't care and no refund was given for remaining 4 nights. Worst KOA experience ever - do NOT recommend!

The last night was great. The first few nights not so much. The campground is nice. But We were put at a site (73) that is nestled between the cabins. All night partying and uncontrolled children from the cabins. People who do not have campers do not camp regularly or tend to accept the etiquette that comes with it. People literally were walking right between our chairs where we were sitting.

The Mt. Gilead KOA is by far the best KOA campground we have ever encountered. We always enjoy our stay at Mt. Gilead KOA. The sites are near perfect with placement of all utilities and are extremely level. Furthermore, the amenities at the campground are spectacular; a great store, phenomenal bar/pub and many activities including excellent live music. The staff is phenomenal to work with as well.
We love the camp grounds and everything is so convenient. The staff is amazing and always so happy and ready to help with whatever we need. We love the bar and restaurant there. It is also convenient to have if you do not want to leave the grounds. We love this place!

Campground was well maintained, clean and quiet. Numerous activities to keep everyone entertained. Will be back again soon.
We had an amazing stay at the KOA, and enjoyed all of it's amenities. We stayed in the Western cabin and while it was all we hoped for there were 2 big issues, 1st the water after the 1st night wasn't even Lukewarm in the shower, and the biggest issue was my girlfriend and I gotten bitten up really bad by bugs in the bedroom. Not sure what kind but they were bad. Probably won't go back.
Beautiful place. Friendly staff. Problem is the owner doesn’t understand family friendly. We witnessed a grandmother with 3 children—paying guests—be told that it would be an additional $10/person to use the pool. They walked back to their campsite dejectedly. I guess $40 to swim was not an expected expense.
We had a great time and can’t wait to come back next year. We’ve already booked it.
We have been staying here for years, first in our RV and later in one of the pet-friendly cabins. We love it here.

Very Nice Location!!!! Super green with tons of trees and grass. The staff was super friendly, helpful, and always making rounds through the park to guide people in and collect garbage.
Typical campground. Sites nearby, mine was mostly shaded which was nice. Seemed to have amenities for the kids if you have them. Bathrooms were great. Everything worked as it should. Gates to the dog park could be more secure but otherwise a solid stay.
The office people were friendly and helpful. Our site was great. The site was large, partially shaded and plenty big enough. The bathroom were nice although one morning I didn’t have hot water but my husband in the next door shower said how hot and wonderful his shower was! My grandkids loved the reptile show!

T1 shanty is very dirty, has a beehive in the wood with yellojacket bees, and the stairs are not sturdy. The woman who checked me in wanted to argue about what kind of bees they are, I'm allergic so I don't care either way. Got moved to T3, much nicer. But there was animal poop everywhere, people speeding through, and just not a good experience at all. I left a day early.

Another great stay at the Thompson KOA! Cabin was spotless once again (shout out to Alex!) and staff was friendly. Our kids always enjoy the inflatables in the pond, jump pad and large playground. Lots of laughs at the belly flop contest ï¿½Ï Can’t wait to return!!
After booking a stay at a "holiday" KOA, I was expecting a little nicer campground. On arrival, the site we were given was in the very back corner of the campground. The site was overgrown with bushes, tree branches and the grass needed cutting. The worse part was the site was so unlevel, we had to move several times to get even close to level.
Loved our site! The grounds were taken care of but could have been a bit better. The only part that wasn’t great was the bees. So many. Stung a few times and a killed so many. I hope this issue is fixed soon. Bathrooms were clean, pool is clean, and all K9 areas maintained well. Office and store is nice and stocked well. All staff were very nice and friendly
We’ve gone there four times in the last two months and each time we had no Wi-Fi service for a total love eight days as well as no cell phone service Other than that, the campground was great
