This campground in a shady meadow on the northeast outskirts of Tulsa puts you in the heart of Will Rogers country and near several big recreational lakes. A short drive east brings you to the birthplace of the cowboy entertainer in Oologah and to the Will Rogers Museum in Claremore. Drive in any direction, and you're aimed at a big lake. Among the region's most popular are Grand Lake O' the Cherokees and Fort Gibson, Skiatook and Oologah lakes. Try your luck at the nearby casino, shoot pool in the campground's game room or challenge your fellow campers to volleyball, horseshoes or badminton. Drive west into Tulsa to cool off at Big Splash Water Park. The city's Gilcrease Museum displays a great collection of Western art.
