Make this KOA your headquarters to experience the natural beauty of nearby Lake Superior and the region's attractions. Go rockhounding at open-pit amethyst mines. Explore 130-foot Kakabeka Falls and Ouimet Canyon. Relive area history at Fort William Historical Park, a re-created 1815 trading post complete with costumed natives, trappers and traders, and at the Centennial Park 1910 Logging Camp. KOA's 90 acres of spruce, birch and poplar shimmer with color in autumn. Sites are tucked in the trees and in wide-open sunshine. Families enjoy the driving range, mini golf, heated pool, bike rentals and catch-and-release trout pond. Hayrides, ice cream socials and other planned activities add to the fun in season. Free Wi-Fi on-site. Shop the campground store for local amethyst gifts and jewelry.
