Mother's Day and "Come Camp With Us" - May 9 & 10 (FREE)
Treat your mom to a weekend away in the fabulous 1000 Islands. On Saturday, May 10, we are inviting you to camp with us free, for KOA's "Come Camp With Us". We will be having a wagon ride and an ice cream social. Also two great movies, "Chick Flicks" for mom and raffle to help raise money for KOA CARE CAMPS. Saturday enjoy a free hot dog BBQ and fun in the sun in our beautiful heated pool and hot tub, (IT"S TRUE, OUR POOL WILL BE OPEN & WARM!) We'll also be having bingo, a bubble gum blowing competition, more wagon rides & movies. Sunday start mom's day off easy by enjoying free coffee & muffins. BINGO, movies, BBQ and muffins are all included in your registration.
Spring Fling - May 16, 17, 18 & 19
Spring in to the 2008 camping season big time, with a fun filled weekend. We will have an air castle, wagon rides and BINGO. Pajama Party! Forget your PJ's, wear your long johns for "Movies Under the Stars", popcorn & hot chocolate will be served. There will be a "Celebrate Spring FREE BBQ " with hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, pickles and deserts. Celebrate spring in our belly flop competition, yes, the pool will be heated, so there is no excuse for wimping out. Pool and hot tub will be open.
Green Day - May 23 & 24
Bring your rake, work gloves and a desire to work in the great outdoors. Book Friday & Saturday night, volunteer your time to us Saturday 10am-3pm and Saturday night is free! A hot dog BBQ lunch Saturday.
Planet Fun - June 6 & 7
Astronomer, Gary Boyle will guide you through the final frontier, see planets, stars, even the space station through Gary's hand built telescope. Enjoy "Asteroid Impact" and "Moonwalk" at the pool. Enjoy Milky Way Sundaes, Bingo and Movies Under the Stars and ride the Asteroid Air Castle.
Father's Day Weekend - June 13, 14, & 15
Fathers needed to take the Sunday Sundae challenge, 3 flavors of ice cream, lots of toppings, sprinkles, and whipped cream, we will build it, if dad will eat it. Oh! and the rest of the family can have one to keep dad company. Help dad wear off his sundae by cheering him on in our belly flop competition, awards will be given to the dad with the biggest belly.... flop. A Manly Man Film Festival will play all weekend to help "Bond" with dad. Dads don't have to shave!, the hairiest Dad on Sunday wins a prize.
50's Week - June 20-26
Pool-side there will be a BBQ with hot dogs, chips, ice cream floats and rock & roll. We will be having a Doo Wop Flop at the pool, greaser hair do's and a hula hoop competition. A "Rock and Roll Wagon ride" and "Go Bowling", people bowling. This weekend is guaranteed to bring back memories and make them.
Canada Day Weekend - June 27-July 3
This week is action packed and guaranteed fun. July 1, there will be face painting, ice cream "sund Eh's!", a pinata, a wagon ride, and a movie night with popcorn. Continuing the celebrations into the week, there will be a bubble gum blowing competition, "Anything Goes in the Pool", Bingo and "Movies Under the Stars". Also, there will be an Air Castle, a belly flop competition and more.
Dinosaurs and More! - July 4-10
Learn about, meet and touch the dinosaurs predecessors, visiting will be an alligator, a crocodile, a python and many other cool creatures from the Reptile Zoo, on Sunday. Also, kids get to participate in "The Dig", our version of an archeological dig in which participants will get to unearth cool stuff, on Saturday. We will also be having diving for dinos and dino eggs in the pool." Dino Bingo" and "Movies Under the Stars" will be featuring some great dino flicks. All kinds of wonderful dino theme'd events and treats will featured throughout the week.
Super Soaker Week - July 11-17
An action packed week filled with all kinds of pool side events, a super soaker wagon ride, a belly flop competition, watermelon polo, and a fantastic pool side BBQ. A wild game of BINGO. Saturday night it's "Movies Under the Stars" with Breezer Ice Cream Floats. We guarantee to keep you wet and wild.
Pirates Present - July 18-24
Search for hidden treasure with your flashlight in the Flashlight Treasure Hunt. Fill yer bellies with Castaway Banana Boat Sundaes. Test yer grit in the Cannon Ball Competition, landlubbers beware! Dive for treasure in shark bay. There'll be Pirates Bootie Bingo and a Treasure Chest. For those that dare to be out after dark, there'll be a "Peter Pan Pajama Party".
Mardis Gras & More - July 25-31
Bringing "Carnival" and "Mardis Gras" to Canada, this weekend gets better every year. The Reptile Zoo will be visiting, bringing snakes, crocs and gators. Poolside there will be "swamp water floats", exotic face painting, "What Would You Do For Beads" and a gator race. We will also have "Hotttt! Potato" giant baked potatoes with all the fixins, sour cream, bacon bits, salsa, butter. A "Big Easy Bingo", "Glow Stick" Wagon Ride and "Get Swamped" Wagon Rides.
Holiday Fun For Everyone - August 1-7
Since this long weekend celebrates no particular holiday we celebrate them all, throughout week. An Easter Egg Hunt, Trick or Treating Treasure Hunt, St. Patty's Sundae's, Ho Ho Bingo and Ring in New Years with a bang, Midnight at Mid-day pinata. This will become your favorite holiday, because we take the best of each holiday and wrap them all up into one great weekend.
60's Blast from the Past - August 8-14
Baby we've got a weekend like no other. Let your imagination run wild with a "Psychedelic Wagon Ride", "Groovey Movies", "Bubble Centre", "Candy Scramble" and "Far Out Floats". Experience "Helium High" and "Out of this World" two stations set up to alter your senses. Also participate in "Blow" (a bubble gum blowing competition), we supply as much bubble gum as you can stuff in your face, you supply the bubble. Spend the evening at "Far Out" checking out the stars, planets and the space station with astronomer Gary Boyle.
Barnyard Blues - August 15-21
Even'ns spent on the Russ'lin Wagon Rides, Movies Under the Stars with kettle corn and Wild West BINGO. Days do'in Hilly Billy Horseshoes, Stand Off's at the pool, dive'n for gold nuggets, seed spit'n competition and a haystack treasure hunt. For vittles there'll be a corn roast, wieners & beans, watermelon and good old fashioned milk and cookies.
Ole All Day! - August 22-28
It is a week of laid back Mexican fun in the sun. Chili and corn chips "fiesta supper" on Saturday. Siesta snacking on fiesta floats. Cool off with Bingo and a movie under the stars. Pinata fun for everyone. Fiesta fun glow stick wagon rides. This week is all about having a laid back good time.
Labor Day Weekend - August 29, 30, 31, September 1
Before school starts, it is the last chance for kids to enjoy the carefree days of summer. To make summer 2008 memorable we will be having a FREE BBQ with hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, pickles and decadent deserts. Astronomer Gary Boyle will guide you through the final frontier, see planets, stars and even the space station. Movies and Bingo under the stars. "Grand Splash Belly Flops" and "Almost Anything Goes" in the pool, grouchy adults beware. Save more time and money, for booking early we will let you keep your fridge plugged in during the week. Extend your weekend, stay an extra day by arriving on the Thursday or staying Monday, we'll let you stay for 1/2 price! (this also extends to FallFest) Have fun, at our 3 new theme weekends this fall, Apples, Animals and Autumn, Chocolate Dreams, monte Carlo mania. Squeeze the last out of summer by enjoying our heated pool and hot tub all fall. Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) and You - September 19 & 20
We will be having a camper and community flea market, so clean out your garage and get ready for a great weekend. Campers get to put out a table for free, non registered guests will pay $10, proceeds go to the SPCA. There will be crafts, a bake sale and unwanted treasures for the Saturday flea market. We will also be celebrating autumn with an apple pie and ice cream social, apple cider, apple bingo and a wagon ride. Make the most out of fall, get rid of unwanted stuff, enjoy falls bounty, and help animals!
Chocoholic Fantasy - September 26 & 27
Chocolate fountains, chocolate buffet of decadent deserts, chocolate BINGO, chocolate movies, hot chocolate and chocolate popcorn, it's everything a chocolate lover could ever dream of or imagine in one weekend.

Thanksgiving Weekend - October 10, 11, 12, & 13
The best Thanksgiving and Halloween you'll ever have. This weekend is about friends, family and fun. Saturday night there is a haunted house, the staff spend several weeks planning this scary experience that both young and old can enjoy together. There is also Trick or Treating, a Halloween party and pumpkin bowling. Dress up your site and have a spooky good time. On Sunday we have a wagon ride, haystack treasure hunt, an air castle and the best darn potluck dinner you will ever have. We supply the turkeys, ham, gravy and stuffing, you bring your favorite holiday side dish. Bring a carved pumpkin and join in the great hairy pumpkin float.
