Fort Henry is just a 20 minute scenic drive along the St. Lawrence. Overlooks downtown Kingston. July-August, Wednesday evenings - dinner and a show at Old Fort Henry. St. Lawrence Seaway Locks (30 Minutes)The construction of the St. Lawrence Power Project and Seaway, which took place in the 1950s, permanently raised the water level of the St. Lawrence River between Iroquois and Cornwall, in Eastern Ontario, submerging several villages. Now it represents not only a huge boating heaven but one of the worlds largest shipping lane. Make your way to the Eisenhower locks and watch the huge laker ships squeeze themselves into the locks and magically rise or lower to the next level. Click here for more information. As the eastern gateway to the 1000 Islands, we offer one of the most accessible waterfronts and many of Canada's historical treasures. Come and enjoy our small-town hospitality.

Offering a vast selection of services year round, Westport is a pleasant surprise and unforgettable destination. Why not stop by? You'll be glad you did! Greater Napanee (45 Minutes)Conveniently located along the Highway 401 corridor mid-way between Belleville and Kingston at Exit 579 you'll find a charming community with a Victorian flavour and a history rooted in the Loyalist migrations and the boom economies of 19th and early 20th century logging and shipping. Sandbanks Provincial Park (2 Hours)Sandbanks Provincial Park is one of southern Ontario's most delightful recreational spots, a summer magnet for campers and day visitors. Sandbanks boasts three sandy beaches, Outlet Beach, Sandbanks Beach and Dunes Beach, among the largest and most beautiful beaches in Ontario, with golden sand and sparkling water. Windsurfing, sailing, canoeing and boating compete with sunbathing and swimming as favourite park activities. Smiths Falls (45 minutes)Situated in a picturesque area along the Rideau Canal, with over 90 acres of parkland, Smiths Falls is a beautiful town with plenty to see and do. There's fishing, hiking, tennis, swimming, boating, birdwatching, ball diamonds, lawn bowling, basketball, darts, hockey, squash, bowling, billards, shopping, good dining and overnight accommodations including hotels, motels and B&Bs.
