Toronto West KOA Kampground has been owned and operated by owners Barbara and Rich Cooper and General Managers, Mark and Julie Trumpa, for the past twenty-two years. Throughout these years we have been privileged to provide the best of family camping experiences to tourists from every part of North America, Europe and elsewhere.
Mark and Julie live on the campground and will be your hosts. This pair of campground management professionals is well known for their cheerful, helpful hospitality and boundless good nature. Each spring Mark and Julie work hard to impart their attitudes, insights and skills to our staff of carefully chosen student hosts. HOW DO WE MEASURE UP? In the most recent of the KOA Inc. rigorous annual system-wide inspections Toronto West KOA scored an impressive 97.9% and was awarded the top rating of GOLD. The average rating for comparable campgrounds is 92.6, or silver.
OUR TENT SITES: You may chose from wooded, relatively secluded sites with no hook-ups, but with easy access to a potable water tap, rest rooms, individual free hot showers, and all the standard amenities that KOA Kampgrounds are respected for, (including a Kamping Kitchen). Each site includes a six foot picnic table and an in-ground campfire pit.
For tenters wishing more on-site amenities we offer, for an additional fee, tent sites with a water tap and a 15 ampere electrical outlet.
OUR RV SITES: We provide large, level pull-through and back-in sites that will accommodate all types and sizes of RVs from the most compact pop-up trailer to the largest and most luxurious 5th wheel trailer or motorhome. Our sites provide sparkling clear, potable water from our deep wells and offer 15, 30, or 50 ampere electrical hook-ups and optional sewer connections.
Each site consists of a separate parking area and a grassed lawn with at least one shade tree. The lawns are elevated several inches above the parking areas and roads to ensure rapid drainage after rainy periods and the parking areas and roads have been graded to ensure the complete absence of standing water and mud.
Each site includes a six foot picnic table and an in-ground campfire pit with grills available for use at no charge.
OUR KAMPING KABINS: These very popular KOA features are cozy one-room cabins made from real logs and equipped with solid floors, lockable doors, one double bed and two bunks with mattresses, electric light, smoke detector and screened windows. Outside is a roofed porch, a picnic table, an electric hook-up a water tap and an in-ground campfire pit.
Reserve early and bring your bedding, camp stove and utensils.
FOR CAMPERS NEEDING WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE FACILITIES: One of our two restrooms / shower buildings provides an access ramp and wheelchair accessible toilets and shower. The office and store are also accessible by means of ramps.

Yes, we can help you arrange for a rental car with prompt pick-up and return to your campsite.
We also rent trikes (banana type) for those who don't want to drive so far.
Kids of all ages will enjoy our two well equipped playgrounds with a variety of attractions including a large trampoline.
Sporting types can enjoy a game of horseshoes, shoot a few hoops or play ball on one of our playing fields.
Your dog is welcome as long it tows you behind wherever it "goes", securely attached to its leash and carrying a "doggie bag" so that we won't know where it "went".
Of course, we sell firewood and every site has a sunken fire ring for your campfire - and a picnic table in good repair.
We also sell propane for bottle refills and motor fuel.
Our two games rooms offer video games and a pool table for rainy days as well as nightly free movies.
Our grass is well trimmed and we practice insect and weed control.
When you have to call home, or (god forbid!) contact the office we provide the most modern pay phones, fax service and a telephone connection for your laptop computer.
TRANSPORTATION AND TOURS
OUR TORONTO TOURS are expertly guided, daily, from the campground in our air-conditioned tour van. You will get an up close and personal experience of Toronto including:M
Casa Loma, Kensington Market, Chinatown, CN Tower, Skydome, Harbourfront, St. James Cathedral, Yonge Street, Queens Park, the fashion, business and theatre districts and much more !!.
Toronto tours are about four hours in length. Please ask us for tour prices and schedules.
NIAGARA FALLS TOURS
From the campground in our air conditioned van you will connect with our Niagara falls tour operator at a convenient hotel pick-up point. Please call for prices, schedules and an early booking discount. You will experience a full day tour including a buffet lunch and the following attractions: Niagara Wine Country The Welland Canal Historic Niagara on the Lake, Power Stations Queenston Heights The Whirlpool Rapids The Floral Clock The Spanish Aerocar The Maid of the Mist, and , of course the Magnificent Falls themselves!!! On your return our van will bring you back to your site.
PUBLIC TRANSIT TO DOWNTOWN:
Our daily shuttle will take you to our local commuter transit coach that takes you to downtown Toronto. This service runs once daily, leaving mid-morning and returning early evening. Our shuttle charge includes the transit coach fare.
AUTOMOBILE RENTALS:
Local rental agencies have been chosen to pick you up at your campsite and bring you to the rental car of your choice; then bring you home to your site when you return the car. It is advisable to let us know of your car rental needs prior to arrival if possible.

Our campground is conveniently located only 45 minutes to down town Toronto, and all attractions are within an easy driving distance. We can provide all the written directions, information, and maps that you will need to get there (and back to us) on your own!!
VISIT NIAGARA FALLS FROM TORONTO WEST KOA:
The Famous Falls are just an easy 75 minute drive by expressway from Toronto West KOA. On your stay with us plan to spend one day viewing the splendor of Niagara Falls and visiting the various attractions and the world class Casino Niagara. On your way to the Falls you will drive through Ontario's wine country which offers many opportunities for enjoyable vineyard tours and visits.
