Yaquina Head Lighthouse
www.yaquinalights.org The 93 foot tower, Oregon's tallest, is located on a narrow point of land jutting due west into the Pacific Ocean north of Newport, at Yaquina Head Outstanding Natural Area.
Yaquina Bay Lighthouse
A piece of Oregon history sits atop a bluff at the mouth of the Yaquina River. It is the Historic Yaquina Bay Lighthouse, built in 1871. It is believed to be the oldest structure in Newport. It is also the only existing Oregon lighthouse with the living quarters attached, and the only historic wooden Oregon lighthouse still standing. Oregon Coast Aquarium
The Oregon Coast Aquarium is a private, not-for-profit aquatic and marine science educational facility offering a fun and interesting way to learn about Oregon’s coastal ecosystem. The Aquarium is dedicated to teaching marine wildlife and ocean preservation through responsible management and exhibition of marine life.

Hatfield Marine Science Center
HMSC is a research and teaching facility located in Newport, Oregon on the Yaquina Bay estuary, about one mile from the open waters of the Pacific Ocean. HMSC plays an integral role in programs of marine and estuarine research and instruction, as a laboratory facility serving resident scientists, as a base for far-ranging oceanographic studies, and as a classroom for students.

Tillamook Cheese
If you like cheese, then a visit to the home of Tillamook Cheese is a must. Over one million folks tour their Visitor's Center each year to watch the cheesemakers and packagers at work and to enjoy the rich, delicious Tillamook goodies available at the ice cream dipping counters, fudge counter and cafe. You can also learn a lot. There are educational videos, historical and natural resource displays and interactive kiosks. You'll also find a gift store filled with hundreds of unique items and a wide variety of cheese and ice cream for you to eat on the spot or take home with you. Cape Meares State Scenic Viewpoint
Located 10 miles west of Tillamook on the north end of the Three Capes Scenic Loop. The park is open daily, throughout the year, from 7 am to dusk with no day use admission charged. Features within the park include: Cape Meares Lighthouse, an informational kiosk, interesting viewpoints where the visitor
can view the off-shore rocks for native birds and the annual whale migration, the Three Arch Rocks National Wildlife Refuge, nature trails, and the famous Octopus Tree. The Evergreen Aviation Museum
Visit their new 121,000 square foot facility in McMinnville, Oregon, featuring the famous Hughes Flying Boat ("Spruce Goose"). The new building located one mile east of McMinnville on Highway 18.
