Waldport/Newport KOA is the only seaside KOA in Oregon. We were awarded "America's Top 50 Views" by Reserve America. Our campground offers beautiful views of Alsea Bay and the historic Alsea Bay Bridge. From our sites you can sit back and watch the bay spill into the Pacific, the seals enjoying the sand bar at low tide, or the beautiful sunrises and sunsets!
With-in 30 minutes or less from the campground you can explore rocky coastlines, tidepools, or beautiful beaches. Visit the Oregon Coast Aquarium, the Hatfield Science Center, Historic Nye Beach or the Sea Lion Caves. Take a walk across the bridge into Waldport and explore the shops and try one of the many delicious restaurants.
We are open year round. Spend some time with us in the summer and enjoy fun family activities like ice cream parties and campfire stories, or take our trail down to the bay beach and spend an afternoon flying kites. You can enjoy Waldport's "3rd of July" fireworks right from the campground. In the fall, stay with us for some spooky Halloween fun, in November "Talk Turkey with Ron", and in December, come and enjoy the lights and celebrate the New Year.
We offer bike rentals, propane, free cable and Wi-Fi. There is also a campstore stocked with many local micro-brews. Pets are welcome. Any time of year is a great time to experience camping with family and friends, so come and have fun at our KOA!
