Set high up among wooded hills 28 miles south of Pittsburgh, the Washington/Pittsburgh SW KOA makes a fine stopover for both local and big-city attractions. Hayrides, volleyball, horseshoes and a good-size pool keep campers smiling. Wind along the countryside's rural highways, which snake over 23 covered bridges and lead to antique stores and flea markets. Visit a state treasure- Fallingwater, a house designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. Learn about 19th-century life at Meadowcroft Museum of Rural Life. And enjoy a game of chance at the new slots casino 5 miles from the campground.

I-79 Exit 33 Laboratory Route 40. Right 0.5 mile to Pancake Inn Tavern, right on Vance Street Road, bear right downhill to KOA.

I-70 Exit 20 Beau Street, Route 136, bear right (follow camping signs) turn right on Lakeview Drive. Follow KOA signs. Turn right on Vance Street Road to KOA.
