Knoebels Amusement Resort

Enjoy a fun day for all ages. Visit America's largest Free Admission Amusement Park. There are rides and games for all ages, shopping and lots of food! Farm & Flea Markets

Great bargains and some of the freshest produce and baked goods can be found at one of the many markets throughout the valley. The Route 15 Flea Market is open every Sunday, with a variety of merchandise antiques, candy, produce & more. Call 570-568-8080 for more information. On Wednesdays you will want to stop by the Lewisburg Farmer's Market. There is always a wide variety locally grown produce, homemade baked good, butcher and cheese shops, flowers and more. Go early for best selections. Call 814-237-1960 for details. Once the weather warms up, the Lewisburg Grower's Market is open every 2nd Friday from May to October. Outdoor Adventures

Mountain Biking
If you like mountain biking, there are many trails within driving distance. Pack your bikes, lunches and family in your vehicle and hit the trails. They range from 10 miles to 42 miles of easy, intermediate and advance trails. Contact the Susquehanna Valley Visitors Bureau at 1-800-525-7320 for a detailed map and complete instructions.

If you're in it for the day sun up to sun down, starting it Lewisburg's Bucknell University, there is a 42 mile trial along Penns Creek. This ride takes you through beautiful country sides and allows you to stop at many different places. Pottery shops, restaurants, specialty shops and museums are just of the few stops you can make. If you do not mind driving a little further, the Pine Creek rails to Trails path is a fantastic 67 mile groomed trail that wind through beautiful forests and past mountain streams. This flat stone trail provides easy riding for all ages, with multiple access points and even restroom facilities along the way. Visit their website for trail maps and details.

Canoeing & Kayaking
The Susquehanna River is the longest river on the East Coast of the US. It is a very shallow waterway that is not suitable for larger water craft, which means it is perfect for canoe and kayak enthusiast. The river has Class I to Class III water in our area, as well as a wide variety of diverse ecology to enjoy. Launch permits are required if you bring your own equipment, but you can also rent from a local outfitter at www.paddlehappy.com. Artisan Tour

Enjoy a beautiful drive along scenic Route 45, also know as the Purple Heart Highway. The 100 mile trip covers five counties as it winds throughout the central PA countryside. Downtown Shopping

Enjoy a unique shopping experience in historic downtown Lewisburg. This beautiful old main street is home to a wide variety of electric shops, jewelers and galleries. There are many restaurants and cafes, and a classic old art deco movie theater. Dad can take the kids to the park or giant playground while Mom shops away. Motorcycle Roads

There are windy roads, there are twisty roads, there are long country roads, and so on… This helmet optional state lets have many choices of what your ride will be.
