Antiques

If you enjoy antiques, you can spend a whole day visiting all the shops in the local area. If you would like more information on all the local shops in the area, you may go to www.VisitCentralPA.org. There are numerous wine tours in our area. Some can be made in a day and some you may need 2 or 3 days to complete. Just in a day trip some of the Wineries you can visit are:

Mountain Biking

If you like mountain biking, there are many trials within driving distance. Pack your bikes, lunches and family in your vehicle and hit the trails. They range from 10 miles to 42 miles of easy, intermediate and advance trails. Contact the Susquehanna Valley Visitors Bureau at 1-800-525-7320 for a detailed map and complete instructions.

If you're in it for the day sun up to sun down, starting it Lewisburg's Bucknell University, there is a 42 mile trial along Penns Creek. This ride takes you through beautiful country sides and allows you to stop at many different places. Pottery shops, restaurants, specialty shops and museums are just of the few stops you can make.
