On your way to Florida? This campground is a great stopping point for KOA's friends from the north. If you're heading to sunny Myrtle Beach, historic Charleston or picturesque Charlotte, this KOA is a great base camp. Enjoy the area sites, then return to this quiet, relaxing park. The campground has recently been upgraded with long pull thru sites and all-new 20/30/50-amp hookups. Enjoy new landscaping, a sparkling pool, a well-stocked fishing pond and a game room/rec center. A group clubhouse is available along with a fenced RV storage area. Nearby, visit the NASCAR Darlington Raceway and the NMPA Stock Car Hall of Fame-Joe Weatherly Museum. Come for the NASCAR race in May-you can stay within a short drive of the track and relax around a peaceful campfire. Celebrate the Fourth of July with spectacular fireworks and ring in the New Year with a traditional Southern hog roast.
