Welcome to South Carolina's newest KOA! Our campground is located in the beautiful upstate region surrounded by farms and green rolling hills. The area is the fruitful home to a creative community, cultural events and educational institutions drawing large crowds of people.

The Spartanburg NE/Gaffney KOA campground has easy on-off access to I-85, and we're on the direct route from Atlanta, GA to Charlotte, NC. Our long pull-thru sites with 50-amp availability make us truly "Big-Rig" friendly!

While camping with us, plan to visit Cowpens National Battlefield, site of the pivotal battle of the American Revolution, as well as King's Mountain Military Park. For centuries, this area was the cherished hunting grounds of the Catawba and Cherokee Indians. Historical evidence of their existence abounds.

In 1948, South Carolina out-produced California to lead all states in peach production. Spartanburg County had over 3 million peach trees and today is the second largest peach-producing area. A quarter of all the peaches in the United States are produced here.

From Charlotte, NC: Take I-85 South to exit 87. Turn LEFT at the top of the ramp and travel across the overpass. Turn LEFT at the intersection as if getting back onto I-85 but bear RIGHT onto Frontage Road (Overbrook Dr). Travel 1 mile and turn RIGHT on Sarratt School Rd. Campground is on the right side of the road.
