Camp under ponderosa pines in the heart of the Black Hills. There's much to see, including Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Mountain, Deadwood, Jewel Cave, Wind Cave National Park, Custer State Park and much, much more. Fantastic tours are available from local tour companies. In the area you'll see roaming bison, mountain goats, elk and wild donkeys. Bike Michelson Trail and climb Harney Peak for a sweeping view of the Black Hills. Enjoy the many water parks and lakes in the area. The Black Hills has fabulous restaurants and attractions. After a full day of sightseeing, you can unwind at the tranquil campground. Take a dip in the heated pool, have the kids play on the Jumping Pillow ($) or enjoy afternoon activities and a cool beverage. Fuel up at the chuck wagon breakfasts in the summer. Rates are higher during the Fourth of July week and August 1-10.
