Motherwell Homestead National Historic Site of Canada

Motherwell Homestead depicts the lifestyles, costumes, and architecture of the early 20th century. Costumed guides give you a glimpse of the life and career of pioneer farmer and politician, W.R. Motherwell, and his significant influence on the development of scientific agriculture in Western Canada. Just 50 minutes to Abernethy (3 km south of Abernethy on Highway #22).

Saskatchewan Science Centre and Kramer IMAX Theatre

A place to have fun together! Bring your family to the coolest place in town! Learn about science, math, technology and the vast world around us! Over 150 permanent, hands-on exhibits, live stage shows, amazing Gryo-Gym, and one of the tallest climbing walls in Canada at the Science Center. Royal Saskatchewan Museum

Located in Wascana Park at the corner of College Avenue and Albert Street in Regina, Saskatchewan. Explore Saskatchewan and your world - the past, the present, and the future - as never before. The Museum features several galleries including an honest, accurate, sensitive presentation of Saskatchewan's natural and geological history in the Earth Sciences Gallery; 10,000 years of First Nations cultures past and present; Life Sciences Gallery shows Saskatchewan’s eco-regions and the impact of the “human factor”; the Paleo Pit provides “hands-on” learning. Royal Canadian Mounted Police Heritage Centre

On May 24, 2007, the RCMP Heritage Centre opened to the public. The Centre tells the story of the RCMP through the use of state of the art exhibits, multimedia technologies and engaging educational programming. The RCMP Heritage Centre is owned and operated by the Mounted Police Heritage Centre, a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to telling the RCMP story to the world. The Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan

Tours of the Legislative Building are available seven days a week in English and French and are conducted on the hour and on the half hour. Parliamentary Educational Brochures are available at the kiosk in the building entrance. Parliamentary Educational Videos may be viewed upon request. There is no charge for tours. Saskatchewan Government House

Government House was built in 1891, and first served as the official residence of the Queen’s representative. It was completed when the area known today as Saskatchewan was still part of the Northwest Territories. This magnificent structure was the seat of Government and was designed by Thomas Fuller, Chief Architect for the Dominion of Canada and designer of the Parliament Buildings in Ottawa. It was a symbol of power and was remarkably advanced for its day. It was the first home on the western prairies to feature electric lights, hot and cold running water, central steam heating, and telephone service. From 1981 to the present, Government House functions as a tourism destination and an educational facility for the general public. Just 45 minutes into Regina.
