An unexpected oasis of trees and lakes, the Qu'Appelle Valley cuts through the prairie in scenic southeastern Saskatchewan. It's a vacation mecca amidst the vast plains, where the land stretches to the distant horizon. Just off Trans-Canada Highway 1, the Indian Head KOA sits 11 miles from Qu'Appelle Valley. At the campground, enjoy the swimming pool and a snack bar. And just 1/2 mile away, there is a great golf course. A restaurant with a gallery and gift shop are within walking distance. The city of Regina, about an hour west, houses the Royal Canadian Mounted Police training center; tour the academy and watch the drill parade. You'll find restaurants and entertainment in town, plus the world-class Casino Regina.
