Waco North KOAOpen all year Welcome to Waco North KOA! We are excited that you are considering visiting our campground! Our award winning KOA is located in central Texas; 20 miles north of Waco and half way between Austin and the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. The entrance to our park is on the I-35 north bound service road, so our guests enjoy convenient on/off access to the park from either direction of the Interstate. We are the favorite destination for RV clubs, travel groups, and families because of the seemingly endless list of local attractions and activities. Some of the favorites include the Texas Ranger Law Enforcement Hall of Fame and Museum (a must see!), the Manufacturers Prime Outlet Center, Cameron Park Zoo, the Texas Musicians Hall of Fame, the bike trails at Lake Whitney, and the "Westfest" celebration on Labor Day Weekend. If you would like to spend the day on a canoe adventure, the Brazos River offers some of the most beautiful scenery you will find anywhere. After a fun day of activities, you may look forward to enjoying the many amenities we offer at our KOA. Go for a swim in our crystal clear swimming pool, check your email via our FREE Wi-Fi internet system, or take a relaxing walk along the creek under the canopy of our park's many large shade trees. For those camping with pets, we have a groomed Bermuda grass pet walk for them to explore; complete with a red fire hydrant! Other amenities include onsite propane refills, large playground with the latest equipment, Kamping Kabins, a catch/release fishing pond, 2 horseshoe pits, a game room with a pool table and ping pong, and a climate controlled meeting room with a full kitchen. If you are looking for a destination for your RV club or group, then be sure to call and ask about our special group rates. There is almost no limit to the size of group we can accommodate. You can save approximately 800 miles of round trip travel, which equates to about $300 in fuel savings! Our winters are just as mild as south Texas; with an average winter temperature in the mid 50's. Our monthly rate is more reasonable than many parks further south as well. Our rate for Winter Texans is just $250 per month, and if you pay for 4 months in advance, you may take an additional $100 off the total! The local area offers outlet shopping, museums, 3 lakes for fishing, 3 large hospitals and a veteran's hospital, antique stores, and every other big city convenience; all within a short 15 minute drive or less from the campground.
