Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and Museum

The Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and Museum celebrates the history and lore of the legendary Texas Rangers-the oldest state law enforcement agency in the nation. Also offering a fascinating collection of weapons of the Old West. Open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Dr. Pepper Museum

The 1906 "Home of Dr. Pepper" offers memorabilia, exhibits and a turn of the century soda fountain. The Dr. Pepper Museum is open Monday -Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sundays 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Texas Sports Hall of Fame

Learn about the Texas athletes who have distinguished themselves both on and off the field. View the Southwest Conference's impressive 75 year collection of memorabilia. Monday - Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Cameron Park Zoo

Audie Murphy Gun Museum

Special exhibits include autographed copy of his book, To Hell and Back , his uniform blouse with ribbons and a suit he wore in films, lieut. bars he wore when he came home, dagger he took from a Nazi officer, original oil painting of Audie by Milton Rowcroft and other paintings and collages, literature, books and magazines concerning Audie, lobby posters of Audie’s movies, piece of the tank destroyer Audie stood on when he won his MOH, and much more.

Waco Suspension Bridge

The Chisholm Trail crossed this 1870 bridge across the Brazos River. The longest single-span suspension bridge west of the Mississippi and was a model for the Brooklyn Bridge in New York City. View beautifully landscaped riverside paths.
