Ever hear that the stars at night are big and bright, deep in the heart of Texas? Do yourself a favor and stop by the "Best Little RV Park" in the scenic Texas Hill Country and see for yourself. The Junction/North Llano River KOA is conveniently located off of I-10 in a peaceful, natural pecan orchard along the banks of the North Llano River. We provide the best of Hill Country Camping with spacious big-rig friendly sites, some of which are along the river. Smaller RV's and tenters can camp just feet from the river with water and electric or at a primitive site. Enjoy fishing and an evening by the campfire - you may even catch a glimpse of the many deer and birds here. Not traveling in an RV… no worries, we have camping cabins available. Stay with us and you'll be treated to river views and stunning sunsets against the rock bluffs. You can rent a canoe or kayak and explore the Llano River. Other activities include golfing, fishing, birding, deer watching and sightseeing. There are a wide variety of area attractions. Stay an extra day and visit Ft. McKavett State Historic Site or Caverns of Sonora. The campground is also near Alamo Village Movie Location and many other interesting sites, just ask our friendly staff for more information. If you choose to stay and relax at the RV Park, you can enjoy the campground's playground, swimming pool, pet ducks, gift shop and store. RV supplies and propane are available. KOA's friendly and helpful staff awaits your arrival. If you are coming in late at night, we provide Late Night Easy Express Check-In sites. Most of our sites in this hill country RV Park have cable TV and 50 amp service, with free WI-FI available throughout the park.
