Our Summershiners are here to make your vacation the best ever! The summershiner program strives to select young people with personal faith and strong caring hearts. Summershiners are full time employees of the campground and lead nearly all of the recreation activities and the chapel service. KOA Summershiners and KOA kids - so happy together! Bring a friend camping. Reserve in advance and both stay for half price!

Easter Weekend
Get creative with us and join us for Easter Weekend. Don't forget your Easter basket for our Easter Egg Hunt. Special appearance by the Easter Bunny. Join us for cake and balloons. Great fun for the whole family. Bring your camera!

Mother's Day Weekend:
On this weekend we feel it is necessary to honor our camping moms. All Mothers will get a free flower. Our campers can honor their Mothers with a tie-dye shirt$ and a handmade card.
Memorial Day Weekend:
Display your Flag at your site. Lots of fun and games. We will have sidewalk chalk, horseshoe tournament , decorated bike parade, and have fun tie dying a patriotic shirt $.
June
Summer Celebration (Second Weekend in June):
Summer is what we've been waiting for! The Summershiners are in full swing. Horseshoe tournament , scavenger hunt, sidewalk chalk and more!
Father's Day Weekend:
On this special weekend all Fathers receive a "Stay one night, get one night free" certificate valid for the off-season. Let Dad know how special he is. Tie-dye a shirt$ for him or make a card. Activities will include a horseshoe tournament, and a church service in honor of Dad.
July
July 4th Celebration:
Celebrate our country's independence with us! Activities will include pool games and a horseshoe tournament. The celebration doesn't stop there. We'll tie-dye shirts$ (red, white, and blue), and we'll have a decorated bike parade and face painting.
Kids Weekend (Last Weekend in July)
Kids are special at K.O.A. Activities include craft instruction for kids, face painting, tie-dye shirts$, an ice cream social, and a scavenger hunt.
August
Summerfest (Second Weekend in August):
Join us for family fun at the pool! Bubbles the Clown comes to KOA. Face painting, balloons and family fun are what make a real vacation. Join us!
September
Labor Day Weekend:
Wind down the summer at the Williamsburg Area KOA Resorts with a s'mores party! Test your hunting skills during the scavenger hunt. Check out our end of summer sale in the stores.

This is the time of year we honor Seniors. Check out our internet specials.

Columbus Day Weekend:
Fall is for fun! We'll have a pumpkin painting party and a Special guest for kids!

Howl-O-Scream!
And don't miss Howl-O-Scream! This fall "spooktacular' is guaranteed to conjure up scary characters and ghoulish goblins as Busch Gardens celebrates Halloween throughout the month of October. Guests can witness the haunting of Das Festhaus, fearfully wind through a monster-sized maze, experience an eerie laser light show or climb aboard a haunted locomotive. There also are activities for the younger children.

Thanksgiving Day:
Enjoy Colonial Williamsburg during the Holiday. Kids Thanksgiving Party. Mrs. Claus will make a special appearance for Thanksgiving. Kids of all ages will love Mrs. Claus and her special balloons. Bring your camera!
