Lilac Bloomsday Run

12-kilometer run held annually on the first Sunday in May. The event attracts nearly 50,000 runners from all over the world.

Lilac Festival Parade

The Armed Forces Torchlight Parade is the highlight of the week long Spokane Lilac Festival. The festival runs the week of May 12-20, with the Parade on May 19th, 2007.

Hoopfest

Outdoor 3-on-3 basketball tournement played on the streets of downtown Spokane. This annual event is possibly the world's largest of it's kind and attracts players from around the country. Hoopfest will be held June 30-July 1st, 2007.

July 4th Neighbor Day Celebration and Fireworks

Annual street fair and music festival held in Spokane's Riverfront Park with a spectacular fireworks show in the evening.

Coeur d'Alene Tribal encampment welcomes tribes from around the country to gather for the nation's largest outdoor Pow Wow, featuring more than 800 dancers, drummers, arts and crafts. Held annually in July.
