Campground looks great, new and clean. Enforcement is nuts (firewood, car passes, and extra costs). Paid for 2 extra cars but got only 1 pass and then was questioned later where my pass was. Left a night early, pull into empty dump station for quick bathroom break, and was again confronted on what I was doing. Stealing services? Paid $175 for two nights and felt harassed and constantly watched.

Unlike some others that claim to have stayed at this KOA, we found absolutely nothing to be negative about!!! Stayed in one of the new pull thru sites, even tho that part of the CG is a work in progress. Store is well stocked. Rest rooms are clean. Water is hot. Staff is friendly. Will stay at this KOA every chance we get.

We absolutely love this KOA. We come every year to stay and school shop for the kids. There's so much to do for them. We don't even have to leave the campground for the kids to have fun. We absolutely love the updates that their doing. We absolutely love the site we had, big yard, fire pit was great, no issues whatsoever.... ���������

We enjoyed our stay, if ever in the area again would stay here and highly recommend this campground to others, it’s very nice and well taken care of. Not a huge campground and that’s what we like but it does have everything you may need or want during your stay, including things to do for the kids. Not far off Rt.79 and not far from Waldameer water park in Erie. The staff were all very nice

Owners could not be more accommodating. We were able to get two sites together and had the opportunity to stay on newly finished sites. Exceptional service and attentiveness. We will be back for sure.

It's a little frustrating that we were only allowed one tent on site, esp. when the tents we had were a solo & a 2-man backpacking tents--far smaller than a footprint of a larger 3-4 person tent. My mother had to sleep in the car because we couldn't use a second tent on the site. It's especially frustrating when sites around us were constantly breaking the rules (hammocks, clotheslines, etc.)

They don’t do early check in, so plan your drive accordingly as to not arrive ten minutes early. WiFi is a struggle. Bathrooms and cabin were spotless. Beautiful location.

Sharon and Jamie are fantastic owners of the facility. I needed to extend my stay do to a family emergency, they helped get me into another site with no issues. They were so thoughtful, caring and helpful throughout the stay. A shout out to Dennis who works at the KOA. The grounds are beautiful & plenty of amenities for the entire family. I highly recommend this as a destination for everyone.

Nice relaxing 2 night getaway. Enjoyed it. We were lucky and had nobody in the site next to ours. The sites are very close together, if it had been busy I would’ve only stayed one night for the price.

Nice campground very clean and nice lake. Pool was nice and heated. A little over-priced for what is offered. Signs every where no outside wood allowed due to state or county regulations. This is not true. You can burn wood in PA. Or county. Neighbors sold camp fire wood alot cheaper. Owners only thought was to have monopoly on firewood. Change policy I will return.

We stayed two nights tent camping. The grounds etc. were clean and maintained. The shower/bathrooms were clean but getting old. There is plenty to do if you have a family.

Nice place and contrary to what others have said, we had no issues with the owners or staff. Only wish they would do monthly or weekly rates. We will have to stay elsewhere next summer when we are in Erie for a month.

We enjoyed our stay at the KOA. The heated pool and fishing pond was nice. Tent site was nicely shaded. Bathrooms by the tents could have been cleaner. We will likely stay again next year for our annual Erie trip.

Though website states quiet time is talk limited to campsite, Sharon patrols at 11pm, hides behind bushes and evicts 4 night paid campers after 1 night for quietly talking by our campfire, threatens to call police.. Husband, Jamie, cops an attitude next morning discussing previous nights encounter, gives 1 hour to pack up and leave without refund. Money scam.One star reviews are true. Never KOA.

I have been camping for many years and have never come across such a crazy and rude owner. A friend of ours came and did not know he was not allowed to bring wood and he had some in his truck. She made him black bag it all up before she would let him. The owners never came around until 11pm. The crazy lady would come around with her flashlight and harass you even if you were sitting quietly around

I won't be returning. Should have read reviews first. KOA should be embarrassed to have owners like this running a campground with their name on it. The campground itself is just OK. Sites are too close together. Septic pipe was too far from hookup. Insanely strict rules.

The site was decent (small) and firewood delivery was a great idea but they charge for everything. To bring guest in which was more then I could ever pay. and for kids to ride their little pedal cars.

We went with our daughters family, she has small children and we were nervous with the reviews we read that it was gonna be a bad stay. The place was great. The kids had fun in the pool and on the playground. There were movies every night. The location is perfect for going to the beach and other activities. The park is spotless.

The owners are absolutely horrible, worse camping experience in 40 years of camping. The owners harassed and belittled my family, eventually the state troopers were called. I will be filing a lawsuit

Never get tired of staying at this KOA. The owners, Jamie & Sharon, will go out of their way to help you. The CG itself is well maintained & expanding. Rest rooms/ showers are clean. The adverse comments posted on line concerning the enforcement of the Rules & Regulations should be taken with a grain of salt!

We enjoyed ourselves again at the Erie KOA in a cabin. We truly enjoyed our stay. We have a 5 yr old & she loved her family cabin as she called it. She said she never wanted to leave. The pool was great & we enjoyed playing games in the game room w/ our daughter. Made me feel like a kid again. We made great memories& the people who ran it were quite welcoming. Thank u for a great family experience

I will never stay at this campground again unless it changes owners. We were sitting at a fire at 11:05 and my kids were giggling in the tent. Jamie popped out of the woods and said we weren't allowed to talk after 11 because its quiet hours. This happened to multiple families while we were there. The second night the same thing happened and they said they were calling the cops

Check in was fine - very friendly host. Decent camp store. Site was a pull through - that was a bit depressed so very mushy ground and the rain made it worse. Narrow sites - was thankful only 1 side was occupied.

My husband and I would just like to say a big Thank You to this KOA! Sue is great in the camp store, which is a must see and the owners Jamie and Sharron are very welcoming and friendly. So I see all of these 1 star reviews… and I think I understand the problem here. If you're trying to bro down, party up, or just have a casual hang/drinking evening with your friends, THIS IS NOT YOUR PLACE!!! Myself, my wife and my 6 year old spent Memorial Day here at the Erie KOA, we had an AMAZING time! With a six year old, I'm not looking for a wild and crazy time…I'm looking for family memories. My daughter caught 8 fish total in the pond, we rode a hilariously difficult to pedal cart, we made fire, we cooked meals, we slept in a tent… all of this was amazing for us! 10 years ago, I would likely commiserate with the 1 star reviews…but if your looking for a quaint, SOLID, family experience, go to Erie KOA. I thank them very much for laid back atmosphere, cleanly amenities, and excellent staff who clearly cares about their site.

One of the most beautiful KOAs I have been. It was very well-maintained, and clean. It's easy to see that those who run it care and take pride in the campground. All of the employees were very professional and helpful. I have traveled across the country and stayed at many KOA campgrounds this has to be one of my favorites. 🙂
