Campground Reviews

The Lake is breathtaking . We had a campsite right on the lake! Site 31. The only thing I would recommend is to get rid of woodchips at campsite. They kill your feet and flip flops and kind of a fore hazard next to fire pit. And it would be nice if campsite was a little more private like campsite 30. Other than that it was a beautiful camping experience! We will be back next year!

You can't get any better customer service than at Lemolo Lake. They have made so many improvement's over the past couple of years and this is one reason why we continue to have our family reunions here.

This location is an up and coming RV park. Not really sure why they use coins for showers. At the price they charge this really takes away from the overall rating

What’s not to love? We were here four years ago when the new owners just started, and coming back four years later and seeing all the beautiful changes and the hard work with this gem of a campground is so awesome great work guys!

We loved the campground, so clean and people were so friendly. Jim and Anita are the best and their dog bentley is too! We definitely will be back again.

Amazing friendly and helpful staff. A very well equipped store for all needs, clean bathrooms and showers and tidy grounds. The setting is beautiful.

The Best place to set base camp outside Crater Lake. Swimming, Very nice campground and Very nice people to help you. It felt very much like home to us as it looks very similar to a State Park up North in our home state.

We enjoyed our stay here. The place is very clean and the people are very welcoming and helpful. The lake is so clean and beautiful. We went boating and fishing. Although we only got one fish, we enjoyed the experience. It’s so relaxing and refreshing. There’s so much to do around here that you won’t get bored. I don’t mind going back.

The camp hosts and their team were absolutely fabulous to us. The grounds and cabins were clean, beds were comfy, and plenty of hot water. The store had everything that we forgot (butter, smores sticks, more firewood). Loved the texting feature. We got a boat rental and took it around the lake. Beautiful views! Wish I would have stayed longer. We will be back every year!

Clean, family friendly, and bathrooms were clean. Tent sites are pretty close to one another.

Fantastic camping experience. It is a great mtb and gravel riding area and promoting the forest service roads for cycling with gps maps of the roads would be great.

The hosts were amazing, accommodating and helpful. The site was gorgeous with the lake and many water boat rentals. Great for kids and our dogs loved the well maintained paths. Thank you for a perfect visit!! Close to Crater lake too!

Nice campground and friendly staff

Tent camp sites are way too close together-there is no privacy. The lake is beautiful! You can rent kayaks and paddleboards which is great! The bathrooms are clean! The front desk staff is friendly and will even deliver supplies to your site (like ice) if needed. The mornings are loud-dogs barking, kids yelling, chainsaws going. No sleeping in until 8AM here!!

This is a small campground but we enjoyed being in the Umpqua forest!

One of the best KOA’s we have stayed at. Large sites in the woods, next to a beautiful lake. Crater Lake National Park about 20 minutes down the road.

We really enjoyed your campground which is somewhat far but it has everything we wanted. Aside from the campground and room for all of us we really enjoyed the Lemolo Lake.

Beautiful quiet campground! We were lucky to get a last minute stay in a tent site to visit crater lake for a couple of days! Next time we would stay longer, we didn’t get a chance to visit the playground, but saw two deer in our site, and all enjoyed swimming in the lake and sleeping under the stars!

Very friendly staff. Liked the location. Will come back again.

If you want a lot of facilities, might look elsewhere. If you want a quiet campground relatively close to Crater Lake and at least five waterfalls and two lakes, come here.

Enjoyed the roomy campsite and beautiful lake…great access to the water. The cabin was very nice, too.

very friendly people, very clean.

Great hikes, lake and not too far from Crater Lake. Very hospitable staff. Only reason for loss of a star is the dirt road coming in and uneven site. Otherwise, it was a great stay!

Had a great time. We come up every year and stay a week. The only issue was the porta potties at the boat ramp should have been emptied more frequently.

We had a wonderful site next to the restrooms. The site was large and next to the woods. The staff was friendly and efficient. I would definitely recommend. I asked from an extra shower coin and they said ok and did not make me feel out of place. Thanks for a great stay!

We were there for two nights and it was wonderful. The lake is pretty and all the options for swimming and kayaking were fabulous. Everyone we talked to at the camp store was always super kind and helpful. Loved the little touches like having wood and supplies delivered. The only suggestion I would make is to have camp bathrooms available for cabin renters - sometimes 8 people in a cabin need them

Beautiful spot. Lake pretty, but cold. Restrooms very clean. Would definitely stay again.

Great owners and staff. Park is always clean, and the new store has all the little things you might have forgotten. This was our 4th annual trip. We had friends come out for 5 days and they loved it. The sites are well spaced and the trees provide just the right amount of shade. The lake front is always in good shape. I highly recommend this KOA!

Bathroom and shower are not ADA compliant no grab bars

It was a very nice place in the middle of the forest but with all the comforts and great cell signal.

We did not know we were going to a place where there was nothing to visit for many miles. We have stayed at several KOA's over the years and have been very satisfied. When we figured we want to go to a different one, we were not able to get a refund for the sole reason "It's 4th of July". This is no reason to not allow a refund when someone is not happy. Hotels do this, why not this KOA?

Very nice KOA. They do fun stuff for adults and kids. They have a texting system that I love. I would like to have a porta potty down by the water. It is hard for the elderly to get up and down the hill to the water. Maybe a couple more lights by the dog park at night? They have a really nice little store that you can pick up quite a few items if you need to. Will definitely stay again

Stayed 3 Nights. Beautiful campground and surrounding area. Drove up to Crater Lake which is why we were there. 1 drawback is no internet available. Also mosquitoes were out in force - so be prepared. Site was gravel & fairly flat - no problems leveling our 5th wheel. Kids enjoyed the lake very much
Jul 24, 2023
The stay was overall great. The cabins smelled a little like dog pee, but we were rarely in them. My one complaint would have to be the woman in the store that was less than welcoming of our kids (two 3 year olds). She made snide comments about them touching stuff multiple times which ruined the excitement and is frustrating for responsible parents who would not let them take anything.

We had the 2 waterfront campsites #31 and #32 and they were awesome. It was like having our oven little island. It was a blast renting the pontoon boat for the day and jumping off into the water and making more unique memories with the grandkids. We definitely will be back.

One of the friendliest KOAs I have stayed at, and I have stayed at a number this summer. Clean bathrooms, shaded campsites and a lovely lake to play in

Although this campground is a little bit off of the beaten path it is in an excellent location. The campground was very clean, the layout for the campsites was spacious and very nice, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The camp store had everything we needed. I would rate the Lemolo Lake/Crater Lake North as one of the best KOA campgrounds we have been. We will definitely come back!

Great location, helpful/friendly staff, and easy access to fishing. Anita and Jim were helpful and accommodating. Well-stocked store, clean sites and easy to find. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Anita and Jim were so hospitable and kind. They always gave us a heads up if anything was being fixed or done around the camp, and they even gave a last call text for the store closing, in case we wanted something in the last hour. The store has a bunch of things that you may forget to pack. They will also be opening a cafe/food spot soon! The small camping cabin was clean and brand new, heater and power included. One full bed and two bunk beds. Beautiful place to stay, 35 min from the north entrance of crater lake (open in summer). The south entrance of crater lake is a bit further, about 1 hour 20 min from camp. Unless it's the summer season (mid-July to mid-October), the majority of the rim is closed (except for south entrance). There are also 4 beautiful waterfalls to see, very close to camp. In distance order, there's Whitehorse Falls, Clearwater Falls, Watson Falls and (best for last) Toketee Falls. The first two are right next to the parking lots, the last two are both about 15 min hikes, straight uphill for a while. Toketee has lots of stairs, but is well worth the effort! It was too cold for us to enjoy Lemolo Lake, but it's beautiful. The surrounding forest is really nice to walk through in the day! Thank you, Lemolo Lake KOA team!
