Great owners/staff. I LOVE that they have an extra large dog park with grass. So many KOAs just have a tiny fenced in dirt area. The sites are large and level and you have access to the river, which our pup loved! Red Lodge is a great town, excellent restaurants and it’s an easy drive to the Beartooth Highway!

We were there for two nights and had a lot of fun! The pool and playground was a lot of fun for the kids! The bathrooms were kept very clean, which was very nice!

I have had some time to process our stay and think about it, based on this experience I am rating our stay low. We had a family event scheduled and we called and visited ahead of time to make arrangements for our family. When we arrived our RV was placed in a different site than we arranged with Red Lodge KOA and not near family. I understand that they can’t always accommodate, but they confirme

We can’t wait to stay again. Our toddler and doggo also enjoyed themselves so much. The campground has excellent amenities that made us all feel so comfortable. Everyone respected quiet time and the owners really care for the grounds.

Assuming I had made a reservation.. Rebecca (owner) saved my day and my vacation! We so enjoyed our stay. The Campground is very beautiful setting , just big enough to get a leisurely walk in… Highly recommended! We will back!! Thank you!

Bathhouses were so clean - the cleanest we have ever seen. Nice to have full hookups. Owners and checkin staff were very friendly. Our sites were a little close together and being right next to 212. Isn’t ideal - but both of those issues apply with any campground in the area. We would absolutely stay again and would recommend to any friends traveling to the area to stay at the Red Lodge KO

The new owners are very friendly and accommodating. They remember who we are from year to year, and always go out of their way to make our stay the best! Property is clean and updated every time we go.

We have stayed at Red Lodge KOA for each of our four trips out West. Very disappointed with this year's visit. The first thing is the extra charge for each member of the family. Understandable when a family may have 10+ people staying with them, but seems unnecessary when there are only 4. Non-KOA campgrounds do not do this. Escorting guests to their site is also seems unnecessary.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

This camper made an online reservation for 1 adult and showed up with 2 adults and 2 kids.Base price is for first 2 people therefore was charged for 2 more. Escorting to site is a courtesy provided at KOA's.Sorry this camper didn't appreciate hospitality.

Tight quarters, we had a hard time backing into our spot. I’m biggest complaint is that they shake down every guest with a $5 per person fee to visit, every visit, even on the same day!!! We were in Red Lodge for a wedding, so of course we wanted to catch up with friends and family. They made a fortune off our friends! It’s a horrible practice, we’ve never run into this at any other park e

Per our website,email confirmation,and face to face registration instructions,guest was told of visitor policy.We charge per day whether visitors come once a day or 50.Visitor was fortunate to be allowed to stay after being rude to staff.On backing,driver ability also factors into the equation.

the stay was great, Staff was friendly and the Owners are amazing. My cat got out and went into the woods and they did so much to accommodate me and my son staying around longer than I anticipated in order to locate the cat.

This is by far the best KOA we have stayed at. Not only is the owner and his staff extremely polite and helpful, the place was immaculate. The grounds were beautifully maintained and everything was perfect. Cannot say enough great things about this location. We live in California and were on a long road trip, but wouldn't hesitate to make this location "on our way" if ever heading that way again.

We have been here two years in a row. This is absolutely a wonderful place to stay. The staff is kind and helpful. We had a unique situation and they moved things around to help us. We will be back again . Excellent facilities.

The owners of this KOA are the nicest people we have ever met at a KOA. The usual issues including tons of kids in the pool and road noise if you are in the front. We didn’t use any of the facilities but lots of offerings for kids. Great location and we would stay there again because of the owners.

The owners were inviting and extremely friendly Their Christian demeanor is a wonderful witness and great fellowship. Best showers we have experienced so far on our trip. Our cabin was almost like new. We wish we could have stayed longer than one night.

It was awesome and would highly recommend using the Koa. Everything was clean and stocked well. The only thing that I saw was the shower curtain was dirty and had black marks in it where it slide in the rod. The shower curtain rod was bent in the middle. Everything else was very good and we will be back

The hosts are very friendly and accommodating! When my granddaughter got a bee sting they were so helpful with their first aid kit. We make an annual trip for my birthday. We love the pool and all the facilities are clean and updated! Great place for kids and families to stay!

Such a beautiful spot! The owners were so nice and helpful. They offered us info about the Bear Tooth Highway that was so awesome before we traveled the road. I would for sure stay there again!

Wonderful owner, great location, and it was very clean spent a week riding our motorcycles and it was easy to get to and from for all our fun. Pool was clean. Didn’t use laundry but friends did and were happy.

It was wonderful there. Staff was wonderful, very helpful. When we had a problem Jason was there to help. Park was clean, kid's loved the pool and playground. Bathroom and showers was kept well. Waking up to the view of the mountains was my personal favorite. Would definitely stay again if we was in the area.

What a great campground! Owners have thought of everything to make things more convenient, comfortable and fun. We will definitely come back if ever in the area. I think the bathrooms have to be some of the best I have ever used. Loved the private bathrooms in the back. Owners were friendly and full of good info about the area to redirect us to other beautiful areas when the Bluetooth Hwy was closed.
