Clean and beautiful campground. Well maintained. Only complaint is the after hours lighting by the playground was way too bright. It felt like we were under a spotlight all night. I can’t see the need for such a bright light. It really ruined the evening for us.

This is a very nice park. To visit San Francisco, it is really convenient to take the train from Petaluma to the ferry terminal, then to San Fran. For us, we were disappointed in our site. When we got there, the grass at our site was a foot tall. We went up to the office and asked if someone could come down and mow. They said yes. We were there a week and it did not get mowed.

The park was beautiful and the staff were very helpful and friendly. There were so many activities and things to do. Loved the movie night and fire pits. Very conducive to meeting new friends. The spots were spacious compared to a regular RV park. The cabins and lodges looked like a lot of fun for families

This is our favorite campground. Very clean and very friendly service. The majority of the sites are pretty level. We love the septic VIP sites where they come every morning to dump your black tank. The campground has a lot of tree's which makes you feel like you are in a wooded area but you are so close to many wonderful restaurants. We have had our RV for about a year and this is our 4th stay.

I wasn't expecting much , but was pleasantly surprised with my tent space . Had a nice fire pit , picnic bench , plenty of space to park my truck as well. Restroom/shower facility was a stones throw away and immaculate .

We had around 73 people altogether representing two different classrooms from Hooker Oak school. The communication throughout this entire reservation process was excellent. facilities were great and we were so thankful to have access to the kitchen and the common areas as well. Recommend an outdoor wall clock of some kind-Also, a better water source would be nice such as a refillable H2o system

We stayed here to visit with family and friends that live in the area, perfect proximity to Bodega Bay. The only concern we had is that management was reluctant to allow friends that came by for a visit to come by our site for a visit. Since our site was in the back of the property, we requested a visitors pass for them to drive in, reluctantly they allowed them in. Who doesn't allow visitors?

Nicer KOA as far as the grounds and layout. Since you cannot specify a site at booking on line the registration desk should ask Where do you want to be in the park? Away from the noisy activities area or close to the pool? Easy to do, none of the KOA's do it. We booked a standard site and ended up right at the activity pavilion with tons of kids, tractors, movies, breakfast etc. around us.

We have stayed at this campground about 4 times over the past 2 years. Each time, we have seen upgrades to the overall sites and facilities. Very nice! While it is more expensive to stay here, the close proximity to San Francisco, Napa, Sonoma, and California Coast, make it worth it as a home base for us. Thank you Petaluma KOA for making this a great place to stay in the area!

The park was great. We had a very good time only concern was from a group that stayed in cabins who were noisy and loud after quiet time until after midnight. Other then that we will be back to enjoy the campground.

It was beautiful and clean with friendly staff but cable tv didn’t work the whole stay which is frustrating with the amount of money for a spot.

Nice campground. Would have given it 5 stars except for the showers near the outdoor kitchen These we’re tiny and not enough room to hang your clothes, towel, and bath kit. Showers at the main building are much better. Nice camp store.

I love the patio site. This is one of my favorites, it’s always clean and well maintained. We already rebooked.

What an incredible experience KOA San Francisco North / Petaluma provided for our middle school students. From the ease of coordinating the event, to the cleanliness of the overall facility, to the obvious attention of upkeep with the large playground, jumping pillow and coop area to the comfort of the lodges to the friendliness and accommodating staff - this teacher gives you an A+

Noisy. If there was quiet time, it was not enforced. Dogs started barking at 7:00. Cable didn’t work and the girl at the desk couldn’t have been less interested. Finallly tracked down someone who he would be right back to check, never came. The pool was closed last day, we should have gotten a discount.

The campground is nice but be aware that if you need to do laundry there, you are forced to sign up for an app on your phone in order to use their machines that do not accept credit cards or coins. My husband and I have traveled all over the country and this is the first time we have encountered this. We didn't want to have to acquired an unwanted app on our phones and the instructions for acquiring it aren't easy. So we had to haul our laundry to a local laundromat and as we were leaving we saw other guests taking their laundry back after they left too. I complained nicely to a staff member who didn't seem to care. Having said that the campground is nice, surrounded by pine trees and redwoods. It's real advantage is being near the ferry boats going over to San Francisco. Be aware, while there is a local train going to the ferry, where it lets you off is three quarters to a mile walk to the ferry. In rain it would be very unpleasant and no one tells you how far the walk is. It is better to drive your car to the ferry and pay the $2 on the digital parking meter. We took the train once and drove three other times. Other than that, the campground is in a nice setting and near wine country too.

We went for a wine country weekend. It's the perfect location. Right between Sonoma and Santa Rosa. We stayed in a lodge. It was very nice. The pool was great. It was fun to see everyone having so much fun. The customer service was very friendly. I will go back.

We booked last minute and we're totally happy with our first KOA experience. The office staff and groundskeepers are out of this world friendly. My husband and I were traveling without the kiddo or the dogs, but if you have young kids with you, this is the place to stay! SO MANY kids and they're all running around playing and riding bikes/scooters. If little kid laughter bugs you, then be advised. There's a dog park, a petting zoo and the office has beer, wine 😉 and souvenirs. My only comment would be that laundry is not available 24/7 - only until 6 pm (even though it's behind closed doors) and that quiet hours last until 8 am (would've preferred 7 am since we had our motorcycle).
