We loved our stay in a deluxe cabin at Vail Lake KOA!! The cabin was clean and very comfortable. The campground had various options for entertainment and the personnel was friendly and helpful.

The sites were uneven in many places. We had to adjust several times to find a spot that was level enough our Class A could successfully level. The adjacent campsite had 3 dogs that barked all day and all night long. Not wanting to create a conflict with the less than friendly campers, we let it ride all week. The same neighbors parked their extra car across the front of our site. Rude!

We were able to upgrade our site after a cancellation. We really like the level gravel trailer pads and patio with firerings chairs and tables. Nice not having dirt in our trailer.

Nice size site, fun amenities. Bathrooms needed updating. Wish pool hours were longer, same as quiet hours.

Lots of staff running around eager to help and make our stay wonderful, which it was. Nice and clean facilities. Great camping experience!

Very peaceful and lots to do! Pools, restaurant, live music golf cart rentals to name a few. We stayed in the Arroyo section. It is the most quiet area. Only negative is no internet our cell service in that area. We didn't mind that, but just a heads up.

Super friendly empoyees, park was in different stages of remodeling and I’m sure when it’s complete it will be nice. Only negative was that either there are no quiet hours or they are not enforced because I camped across from a group of campers that were extremely loud both nights I was there. I would also like to know the reasoning behind being assigned spots upon arrival unless you pay a

The only complaint I have is the number of off leash dogs. There were several in our area and one even followed us while we walked our dog and wouldn’t go away. The owners were nowhere to be found and my husband had to finally take my dog away on his bike in order to get the dog to leave us alone.

wow, we went there when you first become a KOA and the upgrades you’ve done or Fantastic, but you could use a major electrical upgrade 30 A don’t go too far nowadays with these newer rigs, exciting to see all the upgrades as far as pavers and nice fire pits

Great trip! It’s a bummer that the WiFi doesn’t work in Arroyo Seco. Our friends weren’t in the same area and it made it hard to coordinate with them. Also, please crack down on the golf carts. We saw so many teens driving recklessly and one golf cart almost ran my kids over because they were driving crazy! Thanks!!

Camped right next to a construction zone. Consten noise of tractors, forklifts and cement saws. Worst RV resort experience I have ever had. I should have been relocated or at least warned when making the reservation. If this is how all KOAs work I will not be using them in the future.

We have stayed here for the last 3 years Memorial Weekend and have absolutely loved it until this year. Everything was a complete mess from the moment we checked in and the staff in the camp store were incredibly rude. When inquiring about booking for next year I was left feeling disrespected as I was talked about poorly once I left as my sister in law heard the staff talking poorly about me.

The staff was terrific. Our site was the best. The only disappointing thing was I felt like it’s a bit of false advertising saying KOA vail lake. When you can’t even access the lake or enjoy the lake. It’s a three mile walk from the campground.

This is our 8th year coming to Vail Lake for Memorial Day weekend. We also go every President's Weekend as well. We always have a great time but lately the pickle ball court has been so crowded that we were unable to use it. We even stood at the court to wait and the people playing continued to play for another 45 minutes. It would be great to have more courts (2-3 more) or a system to reserve it.

The camp site was a little awkward with the sewer being too far for 2) hoses to reach. KOA team pretty friendly and the camp amenities were good. Good time overall

It was a lot of fun. People mostly adhered to the quiet time rules. There were several trailers near me that did not leash their dogs. When some wild turkeys showed up, the dogs went nuts. In the commotion two of the dogs attacked my leashed dog. He was bleeding in three places. I wrapped him up and applied antibiotics. He will be ok, but it was traumatic for my family. They never asked about my d

I have been going to Vail Lake campground for over 20 years. What has been done to make it a great destination location is amazing. The General Manger makes everyone feel welcome and is extreamly involved in makeing your stay safe, fun and memorable. The staff has never been better. Thank you to KOA for haveing a great team running Vail Lake.

The cabins are really nice and stocked with everything needed. The Oaks area and Arroyo Secco are crowded and too noisy for us, but we enjoyed the peacefulness of the Merlot cabins. The village is always fun too. Live music and DJs all weekend. You can get drinks at the bar and supplies at the store. The kids enjoy miniature golf and the pool and biking all the trails.

We enjoyed our stay and had a great time. We have been coming here for years, but I don’t think we will be returning. Overall the campground needs some upgrades. The carpet in the mini golf is ripping, restrooms need upgrades, tables and umbrellas at the pool or some sort of shade cover would be nice.

Wonderful time as usual. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Only disappointed is the Cafe stops serving certain foods at 7pm and one staff member kicked us at as we were finishing our dinner since it was 8pm already and they had to close We had to pick up what we had leftover to take to go.

Best campground was beautifully designed to accommodate lots of campers in such a way that I never felt crowded. Its main draw is ebike mountain and track. The trails were furiously busy with all kinds of bikers who were courteous and safe in their behaviors. The park had a beautiful large pool it was near a scenic very pretty lake. They offered lots of activities for families including a tethered hot-air balloon. There is a camp store, Cafe and bar. Prices were reasonable and service was cheerful. Campgrounds were never noisy at night and there was ample room for children to play in various areas. Showers, laundry facilities and restrooms were ample and very clean. At night and various times through the day there was entertainment but never noisy or disruptive.
