This place was way over priced and the sites are in terrible condition! Will not be back. Very disappointing for a KOA

Had S21 which is 1 of the nicest sites. Office staff were very friendly, welcoming & knowledgeable. Site services were great. Didn't understand were there was work being done in the campground and where the ground was dug up it was not put back level. A number of pull-thru sites were not level and had large pot holes in them. Ours was good. We had a full cigarette on the patio & dog poop in grass.

1. Making reservations for one night was so easy on line. 2. The ladies in the office were are nice as can be; very knowledgeable and helpful. 3. The gift shop had some wonderful items from local artists. 3. Absolutely loved the bathhouse! To have a single room with a sink, toilet and a big shower was wonderful! Especially after traveling all day. I highly recommend this KOA!

I find $55 for a simple patch of ground for a tent to be way overpriced. On top of that, upon an after-hours arrival my reservation card did not include the bathroom access code. I had to go to a gas station to use the bathroom after paying this much for a place to put a tent. Do better.

We stay here from time to time while en route elsewhere. The staff are friendly and helpful, but overall the camp is due for a little refresh ending.

This was a nice camp but no coverage so wide out in open. On the other hand, the temperature got down to 30 degrees (end May) so the solar gain helped a lot! It was fairly quiet here given the location & easy access to the freeway. We only spent one night so hard to say much more.

As usual,the staff were super friendly! The site was well maintained and very tidy,I LOVED the showers,they were very cool!! The only negative I have to say,was that there were no sheltered spots for tents,just basically wide open sites,it would have been nice to have been protected from the wind,as the rainstorm that hit tuesday night,wrecked my tent..But overall, KOA sets the camping standards!!

The campground is centrally located, the staff check in person was nice. However we paid for a premium site and it was full of animal poop so much so, it was hard to set up our trailer for the night. The site was not clean.

I had a meeting in town but wanted to camp with my animals. Butte KOA was pleasant and so close to uptown Butte. I loved the creek and birdlife as well.

Campground was quiet and well maintained, but the sites were SO CLOSE together. The bathrooms were just ok - 6/7 had no toilet paper - it was the end of the day, but this obviously isn't checked at the end of the day. Not a huge deal, but having visited many KOAs, this was just ok.

As with most Journeys, campsites tend to be too close together. But bathroom facilities are exceptionally good, staff is super friendly and access to long walking trail and uptown Butte makes this a very nice place to stay. If campsites were larger, I’d rate this a 5.

The campgrounds were well lit with amazing bathrooms. We wish we'd stayed longer to use the other amenities.

Cabins were a blast to stay in. Bathrooms were clean and the shower heads were amazing! The camp host knew a lot about historical Butte. Was able to purchase souvenirs from local artist that you can’t get elsewhere. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

We loved Butte KOA, but it’s still a KOA. Not many trees…. But, wider spots than normal.

We stay here 1-2 times a year. Seems like it's better each time. This time we didn't hook to sewer dump because it is right next to our neighbors table. Gross. When we left our plan was to use the dump station but couldn't access it because of the angle and a vehicle parked in the way. Not a big issue as we were only traveling a short distance to our next stop. But maybe move the tables?

One of the best campgrounds I've stayed at in recent history. It may not have all the bells and whistles like the Billings KOA, but the bathrooms are clean, the spots are nice and level, and the hospitality is unmatched. Thanks to the crew here in Butte for making our stay better than expected!

This is our second time to camped and i would say: my family feels at home! Because everything we need for my furry friend and my daughter Nikka are here conveniently within the community and most important is safe! Thank you KOA Butte!
