The workers at the KOA were pleasant and helpful. The campground was quiet, the facilities were clean and well kept.

Beautiful campground but, unfortunately we had equipment failure and had to leave early. They were so understanding and helpful. And did not hold us responsible for the rest of our bill.

Great spot, convenient location. I do wish there was somewhere to buy firewood after hours, like the state parks have, but otherwise great stay.

Quiet campground in the woods. We had a pretty private, shady site. This is our second time at this campground, the first was a couple of years ago. The bathrooms have been entirely redone, and they are great! Now you get an entire room with a toilet, shower, sink, etc. Very private, new and clean. We were only there overnight while on the road from FL to ME.

We had a great 2 night stay, but we did notice 2 things. First, it poorly lit at night and couldn't go out walking without having a flashlight on at all times. I consider the total darkness a safety issue. Second, being advertised as pet friendly, there was no enclosed area to let a dog run off the leash. I did love the quietness and cleanliness of the park and the staff was great. We will return.

Loved the location! Wineries were all around us, which we loved because we love to tours and tastings. Our lot was beautifuly quiet and we felt like we were in the woods..the light drizzle of rainfall was mesmerizing. We did request the “best spot” and booked months ago, but were a bit disappointed that we didn’t have one of the nice patios with pavers. Wish we had known.

A little out of the way for an overnight stay on I 64 but a nice campground located in a private setting.i would stay there again.

This particular KOA’s camping sites are very neglected, severely lacking in maintenance. The gravel pads of each of the lots had tons of weeds and grass growing. If one likes rustic camping, this KOA would be a great fit. The bathrooms were updated and clean and the location was peaceful.

People (Lisa) were very friendly and made a huge effort to make sure we were aware of the bridge repair work and the necessary route change. Everything was in good order.

Real nice stay. Park seems pretty new, watch out for the blackberry bushes and make sure you read the Alert about the way in. That bridge looks like it will be out for a while

We stay at a lot of KOAS. The staff were super friendly, but we found the campground overpriced for what it was. I’d be much happier if the rate was $50/ night instead of $80. It seemed run down.

One of my favorites, Dave Matthew’s made his start in Charlottesville! Love DMB and it’s special to hang out where the band brought it all together! Blenheim Vineyards is a must go place to celebrate Dave and the delicious wines. It’s beautiful and the staff is wonderful, catering to us and our fur baby on the patio. ��ϋ�

Given the rate and the wifi that kept disconnecting every few minutes combined with the limited cell coverage if you wanted to escape from the world this is your place....if you need occasional communication then its not especially given the rate. Laundry room has no restrooms and is a distance from any.

I am already looking forward to returning for another stay. I had a beautiful site surrounded by lush trees, also very flat which is a huge plus for me since I don’t have levelers. The bath house was fantastic. Loved meeting Lisa in the office, she was so welcoming. Also a great location near the national park and lots of nice wineries.

This was the quietest KOA I’ve ever stayed at, really enjoyed staying here. The staff that I encountered were helpful and friendly. Looking forward to staying again.

Site are spacious, staff very nice great amenities for camping families. However not a great location just to spend a night to rest a little off the beaten path for our liking. Due to a detour road was very twisty

It’s kind far away from Charlottesville so make sure you can drive. Seem to be far away from retail like grocery stores

Very nice campground and excellent facilities! So many shady trees & while you can hear some cars on the road, overall it’s quiet. My husband did say the toilets need more regular cleaning.

Definitely would stay here again. This campground seemed to be more for older people without kids, which is exactly what we were looking for. THe grounds were clean and staff was friendly.

Very nice camp ground. Bathrooms could have been cleaned more often as they is only one set. Grounds could be better kept. A little too expensive compared to other campgrounds.

Very nice. Roads are easy to follow and with fresh gravel. Surrounding woods filled with birds. Water pressure and quality was great - no hose or chorine taste.

Clean, modern restroom/showers. Plenty of hot water. Friendly staff to greet us and call and tell us about the bridge work. Love the proximity to everything. Just the right size.

Very nice, clean, well maintained KOA. We stayed in a pull through where smaller trailers and cabs were, it was wooded with spectacular trees and quite private. There was an area that was very nice for bigger rigs. Dog yard was small but clean and nice. Bathrooms were very nice. Poison ivy all around so be careful.

This KOA is off the beaten path which was nice as it was quiet and remote. The folks that run it are a nice family. They are putting a lot of work into it with the addition of several new sites. Nothing fancy to speak of here, but was a great stay for seeing the Charlottesville area. The road in is two lane and a bit winding but our duelly and 39' fifth wheel made it just fine. Be advised there is bridge construction on a google route that is narrow and tight turn. The office advised us of how to avoid it. Happy trails.
