I love this campground, but construction was happening the whole time we were there and it was noisy and dusty and we should have been told all that would be occurring. And offered a discounted rate for the stay. We came to relax and get away from these sorts of distractions!

Another great midweek 4 night stay in Chardonnay. Only had a few neighbors and as usual the nicest people. Full hookups, everything worked great. Bathrooms were clean and showers had hot water. A little windy but it all worked out. I recommend Vail Lake and Chardonnay for any size motorhome or trailer. Even my 8ft teardrop. Teardrop/Mini Cooper Russ.

Awesome! We were there with friends who shared our spot at Rincon (best for people who want a quieter area with great views)! We went for a hike out to the lake which was beautiful! Unfortunately, we didn't have an opportunity to experience your restaurant, bar or live music! The amenities at your resort are wonderful - pool, mini golf, camp store, etc. Can't wait to camp there again!

The young man at the entry kiosk was outstanding. Courteous, helpful, and able to explain clearly whatever question was asked. sorry I do not know his name. He looked about age 15, but I’m sure he was at least in his 20s. The electricity, plug-ins in loop C are ridiculous. Why would you make them so we had to stand on our head to plug-in. I am not exaggerating.

Our favorite campground with all the amenities we can ask for. Our teenagers have a blast, playing mini golf, hanging at the pool and even playing pickle ball. Renting a golf cart is also one of the highlights of our stay. Beautiful scenery, accommodating and welco staff, it's the perfect place to relax and be amongst nature.

We stayed in a deluxe cabin. Took a hike to the lake. Went to the Temecula Valley Balloon and Wine Festival. Ate dinner at a winery. Lots to do in the area. Other campers were well behaved. Campground very well maintained. Liked the fire pit. Will come again.

Lovely park but I was deeply disappointed with my site. I was right next to the bathrooms and an electric box that made a continuous loud hum. This isn’t the first KOA to do this and I think it’s because I travel solo. I’m going to start standing up for myself and not settle for an unpleasant site and I’m going to start listing two campers so hopefully this will stop.

Stayed in one of the new cabins!!! Very clean and great location to the pool and clubhouse. Would suggest more coat hooks hung throughout cabin for jackets and towels and a large flat fry pan for cooking. Also had wine glasses but no opener. Other than that, well stocked. We will be back.

Everything was really great except for the giant group next to us in oaks 147 and surrounding camp sites. They were so loud and rude! They had music blaring until 10:30 pm, they kept hitting our trailer with balls and cornhole bags, just so rude and no one from Koa ever came by to help.

We had a party of 6 RVs.it was nice and spacious. I really enjoyed the nature part of the park. I am a Army Veteran and did not get a discount when I reserved the spot. Not sure if you give veteran discounts. No place to show I am a veteran. The one thing that I wish was better signs showing where the lake was at. Never got to see the lake as we didn't know which way to go.

A great place from couples to large groups. A very large rv park with 520 spaces to choose from. Friendly employees. My wife and I along with our dog had a very nice experience at this KOA park. Close to wineries and the town of Temecula.

Overall it was an enjoyable experience with our RVW group. For the KOA, Wish there were multiple large dog runs with grass to let the dogs off leash. Also, need Adult pool section only. Add on to increase pickleball courts. Not being able to fish or get to the lake was a huge disappointment.

we have been campin there about 5 times this year for the bike racing series that are held there. the mini golf, cafe, live music and pool area are just the best. we are already looking forard to next year

A few things need improving. The mini golf course is a disaster and needs updating; We came 10 yrs ago when power went out in Arroyo Seco and it’s STILL without power???! We found over 20 nails in our campsite; and finally we could have been warned about the YMCA jamboree that took over that section; loud after hrs; allowed young kids to drive recklessly rented golf carts loaded w other kids.

We got a last minute campsite here on a Thursday in May. The lady at the reception desk was very polite. Unfortunately, she gave us a campsite directly in front of the bathroom in the lower Arroyo campground. We had a continual stream of campers walking through our site to the bathroom. Also, the bathrooms themselves, while clean, were falling apart. Would not recommend this overpriced camp.

This was our second stay. We visited for the first time in April of this year and liked it so much we came back. We love the views in Chardonnay and my husband enjoys riding his bike on the nearby trails. We love that we are so close to the stores and restaurants in Temecula. I am very much hoping that you will be able to re-pave the roads in Chardonnay. I feel uneasy walking on uneven pavement.

Love it here. Lower Merlot is my new favorite spot. Going during the week when it’s almost empty is awesome but I don’t think it will be like that in the summer. It’s gorgeous but close to stores if necessary and big pools.

Best campground was beautifully designed to accommodate lots of campers in such a way that I never felt crowded. Its main draw is ebike mountain and track. The trails were furiously busy with all kinds of bikers who were courteous and safe in their behaviors. The park had a beautiful large pool it was near a scenic very pretty lake. They offered lots of activities for families including a tethered hot-air balloon. There is a camp store, Cafe and bar. Prices were reasonable and service was cheerful. Campgrounds were never noisy at night and there was ample room for children to play in various areas. Showers, laundry facilities and restrooms were ample and very clean. At night and various times through the day there was entertainment but never noisy or disruptive.
