A one-day camp for children ages 7-9 who love to bake, or want to learn! These camps will focus on food handling and safety, and baking goodies from scratch! During breaks, campers will enjoy various activities at the resort. No experience is required. Bring your apron, enthusiasm, and love of baking!Ages: 7-9Dates:

This is a one-day camp from 9 am-3 pm for kids ages 7-9, led by Abby Cox, The Kneady Woman! This camp will focus on basic baking skills and the importance of food handling safety, with an emphasis on baking and decorating cookies!During breaks, campers will be able to enjoy various activities at the resort. Lunch is provided. Please drop off and pick up at Durham's Roost Ranch House, located at the entrance of Silver Spur Resort. Due to the nature of this camp, we have a 10-camper minimum and a 12-camper maximum for attendance.This year, we are offering three different dates and a smaller camp size to ensure all campers get plenty of attention and a hands-on learning experience!

Has your child ever wondered what it's like to be a firefighter? Our Junior Firefighter Camp gives kids ages 7-12 the opportunity to learn basic fire fighting, fire prevention, safety, first aid, and so much more! What makes this camp even better? Proceeds benefit the Van Zandt First Responders Fund, a nonprofit created by Silver Spur Resort.Jr. Fire Camp Date: June 25thDetails: This is a one-day camp from 8:30 am-2 pm for kids ages 7-12.Your child will review stop, drop, and roll, water safety in the pool, building a safe fire and putting out fires, some search and rescue, basic first aid, learn about tools and gear on the truck, team-building exercises, and other fun learning games.Lunch and drinks are provided. Due to the nature of this camp, we will require a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 20 kids. Please have your child wear shorts or jeans and tennis shoes. Bring leather gloves, knee pads, a swimsuit, a towel, goggles, and sunscreen. Campers will meet in the Barn upon arrival.Registration closes June 22nd.Price: $75
