5 nights. Extremely pleased with campground and accommodations. Pool was a bit chilly but felt great after laying out in the sun. Beach access was safe and convenient. Store was stocked and reasonable priced. Frequent events throughout the week for children. Very enjoyable week of vacation.

Place is awesome, staff are very friendly and helpful. Only thing is people need to be responsible for picking up after their dogs.

We stayed in a vacaton suite in the main building. It was nice to have a kitchen that was well-equipped and the deck was very nice. One problem was that the positioning of the refrigerator made it impossible to open the door all the way and difficult to get foods in and out. It was convenient to be able to stay in the campground while other family members were at a campsite. Staff were friendly.

We had a patio site that was very nice. Deep fire pit was nice with the wind. Staff was friendly. Nice dog park. Only problem was the internet at our site. Most of the time it was very slow and intermittent.

Large campground with accommodations from basic tent camping to large RVs. Perfect for families. Kids have many options for play. Outdoor pool is not heated, but spacious with plenty of seating on the patio.

Loved it here staff very friendly. Guy who parked us was great wired until we offloaded our motorcycles and even got another koa person to ride over to our site while we set up and he took us back to our bikes since it was getting ready to rain. Thanks for a great vacation

We loved the size of the pool, and the campground had great access to the beach, but our site was next to seasonal sites that were not taken care of and it was an eyesore when sitting outside our camper. The junk in the yard around the camper and the condition was deplorable.

Disappointing lodging. The deluxe cabin needed attention and was way overpriced for the condition it was in. The kitchen utinsels were lacking and one half of the cooktop would not heat enough to cook on it.

Check in was quick. Staff very friendly. Campgrounds very clean. Bathrooms and showers were mostly clean (kind of hard to keep really clean when you are camping on beach and some campers don't respect other campers and try to cut down on mess). Only big complaint, and I heard this from other campers, is prices very high. NOT A 5 STAR CAMPGROUND which prices reflect. But, probably will go back.

Great campground. However… I asked for a site near a restroom if possible - not a specific site. I was told I could be bumped if I didn’t pay the extra $50. I would not have been bumped. There were many empty sites and we weren’t that close the the bathroom. I was conned into paying extra money.

It was amazing! I came here for a birthday trip and the KOA exceeded my expectations. There was so much to do on site that it felt like our own little resort. Everything was always clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful!

Hatteras KOA has the best access to the Sound anywhere on the Island. That is why we keep coming back as we kiteboard and paddle board. Large grassy area for setting up kite or other watersports equipment. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Great playground for kids and Ocean side beach access.

It was stormy, rainy and windy. The beach was absolutely wonderful, dessrted and great for walking on. It is conveniently located to historic points of interests. Will definitely go back.

This was our (and our friends, the Wick's) first time in Hatterus and first time at this KOA. WE've always rented a house in Duck or Nags Head. The staff at the campground was fantastic. They were very helpful and always friendly. The facility was fun and we're looking forward to doing it again next year (with the addition of some more friends). Great for kids and pets. Super family oriented

The campground is very nice and clean and love the ammentities it offers. right on the beach and close to other areas like Kitty Hawk etc. Wonderful stay and will definitely come back.

First visit and everything was as expected. Very nice place and we will definitely be back. Maybe a little cleaner shower areas, but they weren’t bad.

We had the most incredible 5 days in our cabin. We met so many nice families all there for their first time. I wish the larger rustic cabins had a dorm fridge like the smaller rustic cabins have. The hot tub was hot, but the jets weren’t working.

The location was great. Sites were adequate. However, there is a problem with very aggressive seagulls. They started to fly in when we put food bags on the picnic table as we were setting up our camper. I quickly put the bags in the truck. Throughout the stay they would amass and basically attack any sites that had people eating at their picnic tables. It was very unpleasant so we left early

Helpful and friendly staff. Well kept grounds, the resort is Oceanside, my only complaint was that the Wi-Fi only worked for me for 1 day.

I've stayed at the Cape Hatteras KOA several times over the last few years. The cabins are nice and the staff is amazing. I look forward to my next visit.

I did want to let you guys know that the shade shelter needs to be moved or more ground/sand placed under it because I had a terrible fall the first day we were there coming on to the shelter from the camper side of the site. I am pretty sure I cracked my nose on the table when I fell, then my husband lost his footing there as well.and almost fell. We put up our dog fence there to keep it safe.

This is our 3rd stay so love the campground. The bathrooms were not that clean. Love the add on to the pet play area but would be nice if the areas were leveled out and cleaned up as not everyone follows the rules on picking up after their dog.

Loved staying at this KOA. Far enough down the island to be away from the hustle and traffic of the kitty hawk area but still close to things (restaurants, shops, etc). We loved having access to both the beach and inlet during our stay; it provided us the choice to either go sit on the beach and enjoy the ocean or take our paddle boards to the inlet and paddle for the day.

We stayed at the KOA for the first time last year and Enjoyed it. I went back down this past March with my sister and enjoyed our visit. I have another weekend planned with my husband this month. We loved the easy walk to the beach, clean facilities and its pet friendly. Everyone we came in contact with was helpful and friendly. It's also nice that they have family friendly events with in the park.

Amazing staff, nice facilities, nice pool. We stayed in a basic cabin, but were grateful for the AC. RV & Tent sites looked nice, especially the ones with a fenced in area for your dog. As campgrounds go, it was great and we will definitely be going back soon. Great place to watch sunsets and sunrises too.
