The entrance and side roads were terrible and not sure when they were graded last. The sites were nice and flat and had nice green patches of grass. The store had FANTASTIC hand dipped ice cream, that we tried several times. The lots on the lake looked super, beautiful views. The weather was mostly cooler, and that limited a lot of the outdoor activities.

muddy mess, potholes big enough for someone to drownd in! No need to adhere to the poster 10 mph limit because the pot holes limit speed to about 2mph. something in the air caused a bad allergy attack. But good wifi. it would have been nice for someone to guide me thu the maze to trees to find my campsite.

Pretty disappointing that there is only one bathhouse. The toilet areas were clean, but the showers were really small with no bench, and not dirty— but not clean — from too many people. And the shower stalls kept backing up. The amenities and activities were nice though- play area was nice and the hiking path, water slide, and island were great. Wish the dog run area was bigger.

Not to KOA standards. Our picnic table needed to be changed out because it was so rotten we didn't feel safe sitting at it. The campers were not really the Ann Arbor, Michigan type... the neighbor on one side stood at the lake and shot golf balls into it and neighbor on the other climbed on top of his rig and proceeded to saw big limbs off the trees. (eye roll) But the staff were very friendly!

This KOA does not live up to KOA standards at all. It needs a complete overhaul. I do not recommend staying here but if you must, do not stay in the shady section. Sites are not at all as described. They are just dirt, nothing is kept up, trash in the fire pits, many permanent residents with dogs running free. Not at all what a KOA should be.

I enjoyed my stay. There was problems processing payments but other than that staff was okay. However, camping is not the same for everyone thats why we go to KOA's instead of the woods or state parks. Peace and tranquility come in more forms besides quietness.

We had a very nice site (117) and the staff was very kind and helpful. The roads could use a little TLC (gravel and grading) but all and all it was a good visit. We’ll be back!

Not worth the money. 3 of the men's toilets didn't flush. The showers were disgusting!!!!!!!!!! Goose poop EVERYWHERE.. and the biggest kicker was our electric pole for our camper to be plugged into was not working...BC it was sooooo outdated!!!!!!!! We asked if we left if we would get our money back, they said no. Staff not knowledgeable....

Last minute stop for a quick two nights. Staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating. The beautiful pond, the wonderful geese/goslings, and the very serene surroundings. Close to amenities, but a wonderful quiet place to relax. Only recommendation would be better graded entry road. One could lose a small vehicle in some of those potholes. Otherwise, highly recommend.

We stayed on site 105 over Memorial Weekend. Level and shaded, easy access. Lots of action and noise after 10pm.

We had a great stay, there were a lot more activities for the kids than there has been in previous years. We definitely will be back! The store closing at 5 during the week is quite early. Not sure if the sign is correct or not. Some of the sites my family was at (outside of the stone pad where the camper sits) could stand to be leveled with a grader or heavy equipment.

This place is great! I’ve stayed here fairly often this year and the staff is so very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Lots of creative activities for kids and adults, and I’ve never had a noise issue at night, even on the weekend. :) Five stars all around!!

Great location, friendly staff. Bathrooms are starting to need some TLC, and the dog park could be larger considering all the space they have. Overall love this site.

Roads need grading, stone added and chloride. Bathroom floors still in need of repairs. Geese are out of control. Poop everywhere. We have stayed here for years and the only thing that has improved are children’s play area and water slide.

We wound up in a tiny spot that barely fit our equipment. There was so much dirt and dust (and golf carts full of 10 year olds flying around at top speed). People blasting music from multiple campsites until nearly midnight. The rain turned it all to mud and flooded most of our site. Not what we’re used to in a KOA. However, the staff was friendly and the employees were helpful.

It's a great family campground. They offer a lot for a family to. There we're kids galore. Sites were roomy . No complaints for a family campground. It was 80 degrees so the dirt roads we're very dusty. So, if you have kids or don't mind children being around. I would definitely recommend this campground.

Employees were nice. We stayed in a rustic cabin. We did find a pair of underwear (not ours) behind the bunk beds and a corn cob. We understand its rustic but could clean a little better.

We had a great time at the Detroit/Ann Arbor KOA. The staff were friendly, there were plenty of activities for my kiddos, and the campsite was perfect for us! My only issue was the showers were dirty when we used them and when my husband used them there were used bandaids and other trash on the ground. However that was the only negative from our stay. We will definitely be back!

The staff is excellent, can't say enough about how friendly, helpful they are - the best!! The campground itself needs work, which they are doing; the roads create a pretty bad dust storm when people drive by. Overall, it is still a nice campground, and we will be back in August.

The roads in this campground were EXTREMELY dusty due to a lack of gravel and maintenance on its roads. Then when it rained, the campground roads were a mud puddle mess. If you have a nice RV and like to keep things even halfway clean, this is NOT the campground for you! Our large pull through site had no gravel or concrete pad. The location & setting are very nice but this is not KOA standards.

The staff was very accommodating to us when we had to change our plans. We ended up with a bigger cabin our second night - special thanks to the two ladies who cleaned it right away for us and the gentleman that made the arrangements.

Super nice people working the office. Made us feel quite welcome. We had no problem navigating to, or setting up our 42ft. 5th wheel. We had site 71 and even though surrounded by trees, our front roof mounted Dish antenna had no problem finding three satellites Sites are level and utillites well maintained. Lovely spot with many nice lots in the trees and by the beautiful lake. Facilities work well, but a little tired, need updating. Sewer hookups should be repaired so they are at ground level.

Very limited 50 amp full hookup pull thru sites, very tight turns Making it difficult to move a large rig thru the park. I have a 39 ft motorhome with tow.

Beautiful stay on the water. It's our go-to place in the area and has been for years. The lots are gravelly so it could be a bit muddy during rain. However, the scenery is spectacular, there is a nice walk around the lake, and more to do for the kids each year. Friendly staff and a clean park. We love it here!

Stayed at this location for 5 days. We will be back! Site was perfect for larger trailers, enough for the kids to play on, great staff that assisted with all the weekend kid activities. Staff in office was very welcoming. No issues with this campground at all!

I LIKE staying at DETROIT/ANN ARBOR KOA because THEY are very Friendly and Helpful Staff. They have clean restrooms and showers with nice Hot water. They are easy to get to interstate 94. Very Clean campground and quiet. They have lots of actives. Great store with lots of Ice cream favors. Loren Goodale from Grayling Mich.

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely campground full of mature trees and even a walking path around the lake. The campground was quiet, and amenities, while older, were clean and functional. Staff were friendly and helpful. We’d stay again if in this area.

We stayed Wednesday through Monday Morning. The park is well laid out and has lots to do for those interested. The public bathrooms could use some attention but were usable. There was a bit of confusion regarding payments for the two sites we had reserved but it got worked out. This campground was not up to our standard. The property is run down—shower facilities are subpar, roads are bumpy with standing water, everything needs a fresh coat of paint, and the Wi-Fi was horrible. The clientele seemed to include homeless and seasonal campsites are unkept and very old. Way overpriced for the sights & accommodations. The new management team is working hard to make chang

Lake front campsite was great! My son enjoyed all the water obstacles as well as the ninja course. We jogged the natural trail (1.25); one part of it could use a good mow/clearing! Lots of geese around. Showers and bathrooms were well maintained. The staff was always present and super helpful! Thank you!

Linda the receptionist got us off on the right foot with all her helpfulness and flexibility! And the campground itself is upgrading itself and I wouldn't be surprised if it were to become a resort. Lots of fun things to do, including watching the adorable goslings! We will be back!
