Best KOA I’ve stayed at due to the staff and condition of the campground. All the staff seemed to enjoy their role and always had smiles on their face when interacting with the guests.

Best KOA we’ve stayed at….friendly, well organized, great site, and the landscaping is so well done! Loved having donuts delivered to our camper. This is a real gem!

Wonderful reception upon arrival, appreciate so much the hospitality shown, was taken to my campsite, I enjoyed the pizza & wings I ordered. All the staff were courteous & helpful & I felt safe. This was my first KOA stay & would definitely stay there again.�

Really nice campground, with great staff. Nice campsites, decorated beautifully. Camp store has any thing that you might need, and souvenirs. Laundry room was awesome. Really good pizza and wings. It’s not far off of I-26, but it’s really quiet.

This campground is well staffed with very friendly people. The sites are good size and well manicured. We recommend this campground to all those that travel, as you will not be disappointed.

The stay was all right. We are tent campers and this facility is very developed. With the pool, store, and playground so close to one another you are not camping in nature. Many permanent/long-term residents make the place very present. Just not what I am looking for.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

I'm so sorry that the site you booked didn't meet your tenting expectations. Our tents sites are designed for guests who want to camp with a few creature comforts, like a fire pit, picnic tables, running water, electricity, and proximity to the bathroom. Try booking "Primitive" sites, instead.

Arrived after office closed, before we arrived, we received a call telling us our site number and afterhours process. When we arrived, we were still greeted by KOA staff and show to our site. Site was perfectly level and very nice overall. Perfect customer service. Great job!!

Absolutely perfect place to stay We did a short stop and stayed overnight Very, very friendly staff Great spot to get on and off the highway The only thing that bothered me was other campers not picking up their dog dropping but I suppose one will have those types of people anywhere

Used the laundry facilities and they were clean and easy to use. Apparently there was an issue with my email and KOA account and Mea was able to get that all taken care of. My husband tried to purchase propane but whoever he talked to in the office really couldn't figure out how to figure out how much it would cost so we didn't purchase.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

I'm so sorry to hear that you had issues with filling your propane tanks. The only thing that I can think of is that you contacted someone who doesn't work in the office. Our propane rate is by the gallon, with a 10% discount for rewards members. $15 minimum charge.

Very nice campground. Sites fairly level. Friendly staff, camp store was well stocked. Being a short distance from the highway, it was very quiet. Bathroom was very clean.

We had a great weekend there and will be back again! The luau festivities, gnome scavenger hunt, pig roast, fire dancers were so much fun. The campground is lovely and the staff is unbelievable!

This was our 2nd stay here, it's not our normal travel route, but we stop in when we take 26. A lot of improvements have been done in the past few years. We were very impressed. The pull thru (site 23) was nice and long for our 38ft coach and tow vehicle. I noticed some very nice patio sites that were already reserved when I was making my reservation ~ super helpful and friendly staff.

We loved our stay at the Newberry KOA! The campground is newer. It is very clean and well cared for. The campground as a gnome theme, which the owners do such an amazing job at tying into various aspects of the camping experience. During our stay, the staff would stop and say hello or chat with our children anytime they passed our camp. We already booked another stay with them!

This is the 2nd time we have stayed here and we love this campground. The newer owners have done a really nice job fixing it up and it feels very welcoming when you arrive. I had a Onan generator failure on the way in and was lucky enough that this Campground had a RV tech (Al) who is a part time worker there and also does Tech work in a 50 mile radius of this Campground. He put a new fuel pump and filter on my Onan and got me back up and running. Also got a couple of pizzas from the office for dinner that worked out super. This is our halfway point from our winter to summer location and we will be back.

We had a great time at our stay at Newberry KOA. Met up with some family members for birthday celebrations. Newberry KOA staff were fantastic and the campground and facilities were clean and well kept! A lot of activities for children! Would be an excellent overnight if you are traveling I-26.

Nice smaller KOA less than a mile off US26. There's a BP gas station when you get off the exit. This is an old school campground like the ones I grew up with. Looks like a family run outfit, too, which is nice. I have to say the staff made our stay they were very friendly and a pleasure to talk with. What they lack in size, they make up with a family feel and they plan small events to keep the little ones occupied if you have kids, The store is very reasonably priced, unlike a lot of other KOAs we stayed at. They also offer a small menu, including pizza, which was also reasonably priced. As such, we ordered the wings small but very tasty. we also purchased 2 extra large sleeping shirts for the ladies and 1 buck naked short for me. Totaling under $70. Where other KOAs it would be at least double that price. Definitely would stop here again.
