The electricity was out for a whole day. There was no water to flush the toilets or take a shower. They had a noise generator going after quiet hours to keep their freezers going. The whole day was a mess. I paid $300 + per day for that. It’s a total disgrace. I wasn’t given a refund or even a coupon toward a next visit. Totally inappropriate. Shame

This place is absolutely amazing. The staff are great. You have to meet Shady and her husband m, great people. The GM Alan is awesome and so down to earth. This is our go to spot. Can't wait for 4th of July to go start again.

Every person working from check in staff in to maintenance workers around the park were friendly. Campground was clean. Communication was excellent through frequent text msg on activities around camp. Could see all the improvements done to the campground since we last stayed 4 yrs ago. We will be back sooner for sure!

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our cabin could use a few more amenities: hangers, sponge, more hooks and shelves to put things, and bedside lamps.

SO many fun things going on for the kiddos! The entire staff was GREAT! So pleasant & helpful! This was our second trip here and it definitely won’t be our last! Already booking for next year!

The place is okay. For the money you would think it would be a little better. my stay was bad because WITHOUT telling us till we arrived the power was going to be shut off a few hours. it was shut off from 10am to 11:30 pm... also was off the nest day for 4 hours. they did credit me $125.00 back for inconvenience. BUT the couple next to us whom we went with received a bigger refund then we did?

We love that the property is spread out and equally balanced with where all of the activities are and that there also still some quiet spaces to enjoy. Some of the sites along the back wall don’t really have grass and they don’t have a ground covering either maybe just, adding crushed granite or something like that We love the pool and all the activities for kids. Communication is abundant .

Please no wristband. I did not want to ware my wrist out side of resort...so I did not ware it at all....did not want brake roles.. but this was a weird ask for use to do at a place where you come and go to other destinations thanks

The cabin was clean and so nice with all the amenities. The staff was friendly and helpful, heather went above and beyond helping me resolve an issue with my booking. The kids had a blast with all of the activities provided and loved the fun train. The pool was the perfect temperature. It was the most relaxing vacation we have taken having small children. Appreciate how family friendly it is.

The campground itself is great! Unfortunately the campground was having an electric problem that also affected the water supply. They did their best to keep us informed as the repair was happening. Their staff drove around and supplied bags of ice for people that needed. Irregardless of the initial problem we would definitely return hoping that this was an isolated incident.

Good Love the place and facilities Despite new rules, we were allowed to hold my daughters birthday party thanks to a lovely manager (female with dark hair) Bad They changed rules and policies without any notification. We celebrated my daughters birthday last year at RVsite. This year, no guest were allowed! Very disappointing. Staff at front was VERY rude. No next year celebration as planned

I was disappointed that some of the rules have changed, especially with changes in minimum night stay requirements. Most people visit KOAs with children and their families and it isn’t possible at the end of a school year to take kids out of school so it would be a reason for people to cancel and not come and lose money.

We always have a good time here! Staff is friendly & helpful. Each time we come back there have been some type of improvements so we know our money is going back into the campground.

We enjoyed our time at this KOA. It was a busy place due to the holiday weekend, but when it was quiet hour it was quiet. I would say that perhaps just texting the daily schedule once is enough. I did appreciate the texts when the sewage system backed-up and they had to shut-down the water. Staff at the resort were wonderful. Lots to do at this KOA!

We had locked in 5 sites at time of reservation, but when we checked in, 3 of the 5 sites had been changed. Our group was no longer arranged in a row, but broken up which ended up annoying the neighbors who were in the middle of the group.

Staff are excellent, very attentive, do everything they can so the kids have the most fun. So many activities to do. Having the pool at a temperature that is comfortable is a huge selling point.

This place is fantastic. Words cannot describe how many amazing things there are to do just in the campground, and how accommodating, friendly and helpful the staff are. This is our third trip to this campground and each time it seems like it’s gotten even better

Employees are helpful and curteous. Grounds are very clean and there's plenty for kids to do. The fun train wasn't running during our stay, the kids wanted to ride that.

KOA Santa Cruz is amazing! The staff are all friendly, helpful, and sincere in their desire for their campers to have a great time, whether in a tent, RV, or cabin. Memorial Day weekend was filled with fun activities for kids, and we had a great time.

This stay at Santa Cruz / Monterey Bay KOA was our 7th stay. Although we've always enjoyed our trips here, this stay was the BEST! And, what made it the best was how dialed in this KOA is with activities, amenities, and especially, the staff. The staff were all so very friendly and helpful. We must have encountered 10 staff members throughout our stay and everyone of them had a smile and waved hi.

The new check in process is unorganized and takes too much time leaving a long line for people to wait. Some staff don't like it either. Hope it can go back to before to ease the process and make it more enjoyable right from the start.

Family oriented campground, well maintained, clean, safe and comfortable. We had a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The activities were great! We also like that it is located walking distance to the beach. Highly recommended campground. We'll stay here again.

Disappointed with the new rules. We were expected to wear a wrist band the entire stay and have an escort take us to our spot. We've stayed there multiple times and knew where to go. We had a family emergency and had to leave in the middle of the night and I was grateful to receive a credit back to my card for the days we didn't stay. I would've given 5 stars but new rules seem a little intense.

Had the pleasure of staying in a 2 bedroom camping cabin. Enjoyed it, only complaint was the thickness of the bed. My husband and I aren’t large people but the bed was sinking in terribly, we could feel the bed frame underneath. The pool was extremely warm and well taken care of and the grounds were quiet and clean. Overall wonderful place to stay, but we might upgrade to a glamping cabin next.

Our stay was very relaxing. Everyone who worked there was nice and helpful. The little dog walk areas were extremely nice and close to sites so it was easy to walk our fur babies.

Everything was great, except for the noise on Sunday afternoon/evening of the worker driving a tractor back and forth. I realize Sunday afternoons that most of the camp was empty and all the kids were gone, but some of us were still paying $120+ for our "peaceful and quiet campsite". So, that was very annoying and, I feel, wrong of your staff to do.
