A little too much effort put into permanent sites 5 people in the office and they send us on a joy ride looking for our site by ourself lots of nice spots available but we were stuck in what for the most part a farmers field

It was good. I still hate that we can inly have one pass to go in and out of the campground and the second car has to let the front office know that they need buzzed in. With todays technology and the amount you charge for a campground, you can afford to invest in scanned parking stickers. Everytime I went in, I asked to be let in and no one asked for ID or what site I was at. What is the point?

Clean, well-run campground. Only complaint is that the "free wifi" was almost non-existent. Don't count on the park's wifi if you need to check emails or work while camping.

the park and staff are very nice, however, without a policy regarding BARKING DOGS during daytime hours, we paid to listen to our neighbor's 4 dogs bark all day long, while putting up with their kids running thru our site. Staying home is more relaxing

Don’t like to pay $20 to be close to family. Seems like a good reason to look somewhere else. Campground is nice but the pull through sites we had were nothing special.

We did get compensated, but the internet and tv being down was a real bummer for our trip. Especially traveling with young kids. At this point in time, tv and internet should be a very basic amenity. Another thing, the activity schedule was not very well posted/communicated. There was a staff member driving around on a golf cart with a bull horn, to announce events, but why not just post it somewh

We liked our stay at koa Angola. Clean and friendly staff. Only downfall is WiFi is non existent. Phones would connect but no internet

Please was well kept but the bathroom showers need help. I also spent extra for the dog pen site. Upon arrival, the pen had other dog poop in it and cigarettes. I then asked to move to the next site over, that pen ended up being worse lol. Both times I cleaned the pens up myself.

It was very disappointing how little wi-fi service we were able to have. We spoke to the office and they said they know it’s bad. Before we could hook up to cable but that isn’t an option anymore.

Being born and raised in Angola, I remember this KOA. The updates to amenities is amazing. This is one of the nicest KOAs that I’ve seen. Now when I travel back home to visit family, I will surely stay at this location.

There was no cable television and the internet did not work for us to be able to use our television during our stay. It would have been nice to watch the news since we had some storms come through while we were staying there. It also was very difficult to get any phone reception even though the Wi-Fi was right next to our site.

I liked the activities the KOA staff provided, we had fun participating. But the sites are way too small, once you parked your camper and car, there was no space left. Personally, I do not like a campground full of seasonal sites. It takes away for some of the camaraderie of fellow campers

We were on our way home to Colorado and stay only one evening. It was Memorial Day weekend and it was packed. Everyone was having a wonderful time and all were very friendly. The store and management were excellent. I can see why it is a special place for campers and people who love the area and water.

We love camping at your campground. The one thing that did frustrate me though is I went to go play bingo and I was up there 30 minutes before it started nobody was up there but every single table was covered with the towel or a blanket. Then I noticed the next day there was bingo too that was not on the event list so I missed that too as well.

Stay was great . Some people in the pool were really throwing a football way too hard with all the people in the pool, Maybe some KOA people need to patrol the pool area. just a little and remind people to be respectful of other people. It seems KOA people maybe need to drive thru the camping areas and remind people of quiet hours also. Some people went on partying way past midnight.

Couldn’t have a camp fire as the locked down pit was under our awning. Why to pricey for just water and electric. No hose at dump station. Wi-fi didn’t work at all. We only went to begin with because they wouldn’t let us cancel back in January after they booked us before telling us the price. Price went up from $70 to 170$ in 2 years.

We had a good family time. The restrooms were noticeably cleaner. The manager was a bit over the top. When using the rented golf cart to go to the bathroom in the night he was there to pull us over and find out what we thought we were doing? The staff isn't very friendly. The wifi was so bad we couldn't get a weather radar on our phones. No way to stream anything. We hope wifi improves.

We appreciate your feedback, we work hard to ensure restrooms are maintained and cleaned for our guests safety and comfort. We do recognise that the rules for golf carts are strict but that is in place to allow restful sleep during quiet hours, 11PM-7AM

The camp store closed way to early! It closed at 5. Not very convenient if you forgot an ingredient for dinner and no chance of ice cream after dinner����. We were very excited that there are pickleball courts. However, we would suggest a net at the end to keep a wild balls from rolling into the traffic pulling in. Our ball had a few close calls with cars that would have squished it.

Our open light is on a timer and might have been off, Friday, sat, sunday of the memorial day weekend we had the store open until 8pm. with firewood sales until 10pm. Tese hours were posted online and on the front of the store.

I am only going to give lower scores because there was absolutely NO phone service or WIFI service whatsoever. If anyone needed to work from their camper, they couldn't. If you need to get a hold of a family member or shoot a quick text, don't worry about it, it's not happening. We typically camp in October as well, but this is a big factor for me. We may not be coming back because of this.

The campground was packed! I am happy to report that all staff was on the top of their game customer service wise! All employees in a good, happy mood when we checked in...and it was busy!! The pool was clean and nice. We were "weekenders" and the seasonal campers were very nice to us! There was staff at the gate directing/escorting us to our campsite.

We love so much about KOA Angola. I really wanted to give a 4 but had to go with a 3 after some consideration. WIFI is none existent, no longer have cable available (which was always a huge plus), the beach needs some TLC (weeding, new tables, grading). Memorial day weekend and had very limited ice cream.

Worst experience ever would never got back. They treat new coming people the worst. Golf karts driving fast like crazy, saw a kid get hit on one by a worker then she started yelling at the child. Worker chased my kids down that was on a bike to take them back to the camper at 11 when they weren’t doing anything wrong. Just the worst camp ground ever workers so rude

We rented out a pontoon boat and had a great time for memorial weekend.

Nice sites, patio was great. Fishing pond was very low and not great and there is no place to fish from shore on most of the lakes so bring or rent a boat is the best option. Wifi was out for the whole stay which is a big problem for me. I only stay at koa for the wifi so I can work so that was not ok. Pathways are small so traffic was dangerous so the kid was not allowed to ride his bike around.

The kids zip line can use some maintenance so it can function right. The obstacle course could use a different platform to climb up to make it more kid friendly for the younger kids.

I love Pokagon and they were full so stayed here as it was close. It was a holiday weekend, but I was surprised by how loud this place was at night and the golf cart traffic. 11pm and golf carts still whizzing by and some blasting music and honking horns. 2:30 am and neighbors still partying playing music. I think this is just a party campground when I was looking for more family vibes.

We do have staff available 24 hours a day and an after hours number to call. we appologize if other campers music after quiet hours affected your stay. We remained on park until 2am each day during your stay and no music was playing at that time.

The drain in the bath tub was slow. Was told the pool was heated and it was not.

We will check on that tub drain, thanks for letting us know in your review so we can address it, Our pool is heated and set to 80F. that temp was maintained all weekend. We just dont have a hot tub.

Bathrooms were not great, but got there in the evening so after a long day, we were happy to have a place to rest. Tent camping meant cars driving into and out of facility shined light into tent often but the lazy river and pool were lots of fun (small but my teen and I had fun). BYO pool rings!!! Vegan restaurant in town was excellent

Very friendly people and a store with all kinds of unique items! The park is clean with many things to do for all ages. This is a large park! The lake is awesome!! The cabin was great! The bed mattress was perfect for a great night sleep. We loved our visit and plan to return in a few months to enjoy summer time activities!
