Was really disappointed in No Dog park. That is one of the reasons I choose to stay at KOAs. Even a small off leash area would have been nice!! Staff was very friendly and helpful

Great RV Park! Enjoyed our stay. The weather was good, so we took in several hikes, in the area. All were very beautiful! The hot water, (in the showers), was off the first night we were there. We notified the office person, and it was resolved. Stay was great!

We love staying here. Staff is always friendly and they remember that they are in a service industry, unlike other places we've been. The sites are nice (we love the patio sites) and they've converted more sites to patio sites this year. There's a brand new pool that looks like it will be great also. The facilities are well maintained and everything is very nice. Great KOA!

Good stay. Clean campground, and the staff is always very helpful and pleasant. We even had a birthday party for my daughter. Invited nine first grade girls, and the staff was very accommodating.

Amazing! I arrived after check in but, there was a very excited envelope with my name and exclamation smilie face that warmed my heart and instantly made me feel relaxed and in a safe place! Thank you for making me feel safe upon arrival to a new place. Facilities were very clean. Camp ground was beautiful and well kept!!

We were able to switch sites to get dish and starlink Only issue is you have to walk quite a ways from the g row at the front to the trash bin by the pool. Second time staying here

Expensive for a tent site. And right next to interstate. Tents and interstate don’t really mix. Bathrooms could be renovated.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We do have tent sites that are located further back in the property however these sites do not have electricity. The other tent sites with electric were already booked.

The site I had was the best out of the 5 I stayed in on my trip from Palm Springs. The customer service was fantastic!

The campground is close to the freeway. We had a site near the back and were not bothered by the traffic noise. We would definitely stay here again, but request a site to the back. The staff are very friendly and they have a very nice store. Bothrooms and showers were very clean.

The Camp store was nice, the campground was clean, and lots of fun things for my son to play on. The pool once complete, looks very big! So that is a bonus! Really the only issue I had was the Deluxe Cabin we were staying in had no coverage from the morning sun, so it shined in. One suggestion for the cabin we were in is some sort of shade or tint on the window above the door.

The Sioux City KOA was just ok, they had several projects going at the same time so some things were not available to guests. Park is very rocky and hard to walk on with the large rocks. Still not sure why store closed early

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thank you for staying! the only things closed at the moment are the pool which is under new construction to make it larger and the dog park which will be moving. All other amenities are open. The store in our shoulder season is open until 6 so the staff can get sites ready for early arrivals.

Everything great, except the rain! Would recommend gravel patios on sites with no cement patios. It would help with mud issues after rains.

We found all employees kind and accommodating. Park is dated and could use some updating. Area had some hard rains while we were there and we woke up surrounded by a moat! Drainage needs to be addressed with a consideration for concrete pads.

Office is only manned at limited times which seems odd to me. Texted as notice said to but didn’t get the bathroom code or WiFi password. Lots of road noise. Grounds seem reasonably well maintained.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

In April the office is only open until 6pm but we do take late night arrivals and walk-in. For these we do give passcodes out when asked as not everyone is in need and many use facilities. The text log stated a space was needed but no other communication was sent. If we were aware it would be sent

I had a reservation and when I arrived they were closed for lunch, I suppose. They had maps with names in night box, but none for me We ended up just taking one from the open spots Not sure what happened to our original spot which was suppose to be in the box I did call via intercom and they said it there, but someone else must have taken it with my receipt and personal information on it

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We did find out later that another guest did the your map because they didn’t read the instructions that were posted. With that said in an event like this you can be rest assured as we do not leave receipts or personal information attached to maps. Only your lastname was listed. Safe travels!

No pool. No K9 area. Both torn up. Rebuilding the pool. No places around but fast food to eat. Electric gate scanners are glitchy. Located in the midst of suburban neighborhoods. We will not return.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

April is a little to cold for a swim which makes a perfect time to complete construction of the new pool which expanded into our dog park. While a new larger dog park gets constructed be do have many large spaces for dog walking. We hope you try us again when these areas are complete!

Stellar Campground. Probably the best KOA we've stayed at. It is well-maintained throughout. We had a site with a concrete patio, table and chairs, a fire pit and BBQ. The best sites are the ones on the end of the rows. They have a large grassy area. They make and deliver pizza until 8 pm! Bathrooms are clean and the showers are spacious. Campgrounds really need to hit bathrooms out of the park.. Dirty ones are just awful. They do it right here. See pics. The only complaint I have is that unlike all other KOA camps, they do not have an off-leash dog area. Instead they have a small patch of unmown grass with a fire hydrant next to the dumpster. Surely they can find a better space on this large property. Traveling pups need room to be free after long days on the road. Overall A++ campground. Highly recommend.
