Great place to stay. Close to the things we wanted to see. Met some very nice folks working the camp grounds and " neighbors" too Already talking to family to make a trip back next year

Nicest people running the place. Very friendly and helpful. Cabin was in great shape. Bathroom and showers were clean. I cannot think of anything that could be improved. We will stay there again!!

I can’t say enough good things about our experience at the Custer KOA! The staff was great! They all went above & beyond to make sure we had the best vacation and they were all so kind. The grounds were well maintained & bathrooms were extremely clean at all times. My husband and I brought our 2 daughters here and they LOVED the jumping pillow & playground. Everything was a 10/10.

We stayed two nights passing through. We got to see Crazy Horse, Custer State Park, and Mount Rushmore. All three close by. The park is clean and has lots of things for kids to do. I highly recommend it.

The Custer KOA Family warmly welcomed me and immediately felt I was home. The cabin I had rented was perfect, cozy and warm. The facilities were immaculate and the campground was situated just outside of town, Custer State Park, Crazy Horse and other South Dakota destinations were easily accessible. I plan to stay again next year with my family. Thank you for a memorable and enjoyable stay!

Extremely friendly staff. A nearby cabin had a “chirping” smoke detector at 9 pm. It was taken care of within 15 minutes of our phone call. Everything we needed was readily available.

Nice level site. Showers are nice, clean, good pressure and lots of hot water, 2 shower houses. Staff are excellent. Great communication regarding events in the campground. They serve breakfast and dinner at the Buffalo Diner in the store, reasonable prices. Fairly quiet, can not hear the highway. All machines work in the laundry room. Propane on site.

What a great place! We stayed in a Deluxe Canin. It was the most roomy KOA Cabin we have stayed in. The bathroom is spacious, as well. A large front porch with a gas fireplace and gas grill makes for great outdoor dining. And a wood fireplace is available off the porch. Plenty of linens an amenities! The one draw back,for us, re is not a cook top. The two private bedrooms, one with 4 bunks, space.

We had the best stay! It was so close to everything we needed and the folks working the campground were amazing! They were so kind and helpful! We would recommend this place to anyone looking to camp in the black hill's area!

Good KOA. Too bad it lightly snowed every day. Good location for visiting both Mount Rushmore and Wind Cave. Good restaurants/pubs in town (Custer) 5 miles down the road.

Wonderful location, serving as a home base for many day trips. Excellent staff who are friendly and helpful. Good food. Exceptionally clean. Definitely would go back and have already recommended it to others.

All the hosts were very friendly and helpful. The trees were somewhat in the way but the hosts were incredible at helping us park and navigate around them.

The staff is truly exceptional, kind and welcoming! The campground and cabins are very clean and so cozy! We loved all of the family friendly activities available as well. Definitely one of the best experiences we have had at a KOA!

We had a great time staying here. The owners were very nice and made great site seeing suggestions and routes to take. Without question, the best place to camp/rv in the area. Can't wait to come back.

This KOA was the best KOA we've ever stayed in. What made the difference for us was the staff. They went out of their way to provide the best customer service we've experienced at any campground in our travels. The icing on the cake for us was when the gentleman delivered our firewood to us in his pajamas. Having said that, it wasn't for the wonderful attire, it was that he did this with a smile even though we had not arrived back to the campground until well after the office was closed and it was already dark. This KOA is beautiful and has all the amenities that a traveller could ask for. It is located within a half hour drive of so many of the attractions in the area. We'll be back and we're hoping to have the same gracious and friendly staff to greet us again.
