Chicago Northwest KOA Holiday General Information

We don't rent golf carts and don't allow personal golf carts, ATVs, etc. driven in the park.

RVs and guests with tents: check in is 1pm, check-out is noon
(Early check-in and late check-out fees may apply; check with front desk)
Accommodations (cabins and rental trailers): check-in 2pm, check-out 11am
(No late check-outs on cabins and trailers.)

If you are arriving after hours (most days, 6 pm), please make sure you have a reservation. 
Your personal reservation package with instructions on how to find your site will be waiting for you in the Reservation Box. After pulling up at the gate, turn to your left. The box is illuminated and attached to the building to the left of the dishwashing sink. (There is no need to walk up to the office.)

It is $5 per person to enter the park for anyone that is not a registered camper.
You may use all amenities. The park closes at 10 pm for all visitors.
There is designated free visitor's parking! No more than 6 people per site, including camping guests.

We sell certified, bundled firewood at the park and will deliver it to your site.
Guests are not allowed to bring wood into the campground, because of fear of spreading the Emerald Ash Borer.

9:00am to 6:00pm from Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day Weekend

This park does not have a charging station for electric vehicles. NONE of our electric pedestals are rated for EV charging. Please note, it is prohibited and unsafe to charge your vehicle at this campground.

Please confirm with office staff in the morning of your departure day, that the site is available for Late Check-Out. (Sorry, no late check-out option for the Deluxe Cabins.)
Late Check-Out Fees: 1st hour is free. Then it is $10 per hour. At 4 pm we will charge you for another night.

Most guests take the Metra train to the city. The stations Woodstock and Crystal Lake are about 16 miles from our campground. There is free daily parking available. For large RVs it is $10 a day to park near the station. Ask the campground office for more information. At check-in time we will be able to provide you with a package that contains information about train schedules, parking, ticket prices, maps and more.
Huntley Enterprise Rent-a-Car will pick you up at the campground and you can leave the car with us, after you get back from your excursions.
Driving distance to the city is 55 miles, mostly on the I90 tollway.

Firearms are not allowed in the park!

Guests have to be 21 years or older to reserve and rent a site!
In a group of young people, everybody must be 21 years of age.

When reserving more then one site for the same dates, you may leave a note, that you'd like the sites to be next to each other. We will do our best to accommodate you.
Please note, that our maximum group size (total guests on all sites) is 12-15 people or 3 site reservations. (group definition: people that know each other and camp at the same dates)

Most sites have a 6 person maximum. This includes your visiting friends!

Quiet time is at 10 pm-7 am on weeknights and 11 pm-7 am on weekends.

Fireworks and Chinese Lantern pose a fire hazard and are therefore not permitted in the campground.
Dog owners please be aware, that there might be fireworks on neighboring properties.

Please ask office staff about reduced tickets to area attractions and restaurant coupons!

Now, after more than a decade of ownership, they continue to be passionate about their park, constantly improving it for their guests.
