The staff was SO amazing and we cannot wait to visit again in October! The grounds are so very well kept, beautiful and clean!

Bathrooms and showers were fantastic! Laundry was great as well. The first site that was assigned to us was terrible. We didn't fit. That goodness we were moved to another site ,without much difficulty. The employee who should us the site was wonderful in helping us out.

Our weekend stay was a great experience from the time we checked in to the time we left. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. This is a top notch campground. We look forward to staying here again.

Very clean campground and extremely helpful staff. Check in was a breeze, they came to your vehicle, you didn’t even have to park. Dog park was easily accessible and clean. They offered a variety of smoke foods and pizza smoked/cooked right on premises. Close to Mount Airy and Pilot Mountain. We will return.

This is an absolutely lovely setting. The staff was very friendiy and accommodating. Love the whimsical metal characters. You should sell them in the store. I will definitely return to this campground.

Late arriving makes for a difficult time parking in the back-in parking spot, particularly as the campground is located in a very hilly area.

Camping in the mountains can be tricky. Whenever you arrive after hours please call the number listed on the office door, we will assist you to your site. We want your stay to be amazing no matter what time you arrive. Happy Trails!

When we first arrived, we were greeted with smiles and shown the way to our camping spot for the weekend! We needed some firewood and was told if we needed anymore just to call the number we were given and they would bring us more. Everyone was very friendly and polite! Our tentsite was the BEST!! We were thoroughly impressed and will be returning! Fancy Gap KOA- you guys rock!!

If you are a big rig then you need to be a very experienced driver because the roads and terrain were very rough. Tight corners and narrow roads at entry and to the sites. Has a great store and services

We were very impressed with the curbside checkin process. We had site #25 and it was large enough to accommodate our large rig and truck. Campground and bathroom facilities were well maintained. Had ordered food from camp store and was delivered to our site. The gift shop had some amazing products. We would highly recommend this campground and will stay here again when in the area.

This KOA is absolutely beautiful, situated adjacent to the Blueridge Parkway. Staff is remarkable…very friendly and helpful. The BBQ that they smoke and offer on site was delicious, and they delivered it to our site! This was our second time staying at this location, and we most certainly will stay here again in our future travels in this vicinity.

Our stay was a quick overnight on our way to New England. Your staff couldn't have been more helpful, kind and welcoming. The grounds are shaded with large trees and the facilities we well stocked and meet our needs. We will use this spot for our journey's in the future.

We've been staying at the Fancy Gap KOA for over 7 years and have always had a wonderful experience. The owners and staff members are super friendly, welcoming, and very accommodating. We use to stay in one of the smaller cabins, but now we enjoy staying in the lodge, a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home. Property is always clean and comfortable. Looking forward to our next visit.

Exceptional KOA! (and we've seen a lot). The ONLY potential negative is nothing. The camp owners can do anything about. The roads are narrow with a few very tight turns, but we had no problem with a 32-ft fifth wheel. There were many full size class a rigs in there who also made it. The place is immaculate, extremely well. Manicured and has the best laundry and shower facilities we've ever seen.

We stayed overnight but quickly discovered that this would be a return visit. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Adorable campground with lots of hidden features that adults and children could play Ispy (I loved all the turtles and metal figures). Camp store was stocked and you have to try the menu items that can be delivered to your campsite. The brisket was amazing. Thank You Fancy Gap!

Wonderful staff, they really want you to enjoy your stay. Nice park all the way around and very quiet. Park roadways are small for bigger rigs but manageable and the staff is really helpful and knowledgeable about the best way to get you to and from the sites. Lots to do in the area, great little gift stores, breweries etc. We will definitely stay here again.

What a wonderful campsite. Site 66 was the best. The staff service was amazing for deliveries of wood, propane tank refill and even Dave's delish brisket and pizza made fresh on site!! Loved the whimsical figures located throughput the camp. Clean well maintained! If we are back this way we would stay again in Fancy Gap KOA. It location is perfect for touring the Blue Ridge Pkwy and all the sites and sounds of the area. Thanks for a super visit! The Garbutts Waterloo Ontario 🇨🇦

Beautiful well organized campground. Located right off of the Blue Ridge Parkway. A few neat shops in the immediate area, plenty of wineries and very scenic. The bathrooms were immaculately kept and they had just about everything you could need.
